Darya stood next to Yara as everyone stared up at Dragonstone, the blonde happy that Daenerys was finally reclaiming her home but...

"Why the fuck are there so many stairs?" she muttered under her breath, the Greyjoy woman letting out a grunt of agreement before they all followed the Targaryen up the winding steps.

Darya's eyes fluttered this way and that, taking in as much as she could of the island as they walked toward the gate. While the blonde's eyes were taking in everything, Yara's almost never left the other woman's curious figure. Sure, the Greyjoy had taken an interest in many women before but this seemed completely different. Even when Yara wasn't with Darya, her mind always seemed to wander back to her. Her smile, her laugh. The way her hair might feel between Yara's fingers. The way her lips would feel pressed against hers... It was almost like she was- No.

"Watch it," Darya warned as she reached out and grabbed Yara before the woman could trip over a fallen stone. "What the hell are you thinking about that is making you not notice shit that's right in front of you?"

Darya teased with her hand still gripping Yara's waist. The Greyjoy woman's brows furrowed as her heart seemed to pound in her chest, the skin under Darya's hand feeling red hot.

"I-" Yara started but was cut off as Greyworm walked over to them.

"The Queen has ordered a meeting," the Unsullied Captain spoke and Darya nodded, releasing Yara as she followed the man into the other room.

Darya's heart raced as she replayed the scene that had just umfolded inside her mind, her fingers twitching as they ached to hold on to Yara once more. The blonde couldn't help but be confused at all the feelings swirling through her mind. She never understood romance, she had never really experienced it. The only thing close to it she had experienced was lust, both her own and that of others, but that lust hurt and left bruises and drew blood. It was something she couldn't get out of, something she was trapped in, but this was different. With Yara she felt... free. Like when she was with her she could do anything.

She shook herself out of her thoughts as she walked into the council chamber, her eyes scanning the carvings of dragons on the walls before settling on their Queen. Daenerys turned to everyone in the room, a proud smile on her face.

"Shall we begin?"

Darya stood beside Daenerys as they talked about how they would attack King's Landing, her eyes roaming over to the Greyjoy woman periodically while the others spoke.

"If you want the Iron Throne, take it. We have an army, a fleet, and three dragons," Yara stated, glancing between the Dragon Queen and the war table in front of her. "We should hit King's Landing now. Hard. With everything we have. The city will fall within a day."
