~ ALTERNATE DIMENSION ~

Once I entered the alternate dimension, I felt weird. It feels like deja vu.

The place was familiar, this is my house, in the kitchen to be exact. I was still trying to wrap my head around...whatever this is when a man suddenly came into the room, Valentine.

I looked around and grabbed the first thing I set my hand on, which was a knife.

"Where's my mother!?"

As soon as Clary entered the portal, I immediately made a portal, using my stele, to go back to the institute, knowing that as soon as I step foot there, i'll be arrested.

So I made a wise decision and stepped out of the portal, bringing me to my room inside the institute.

I'm so tired and drained so I took a quick shower and changed into my sleeping attire. I was about to catch some sleep, when someone suddenly entered my room.

Lydia's eyes widened as she saw me. She checked outside before silently shutting the door.

"Lydia, I-"

"What on earth have you done? Do you know how much trouble you put yourself into? You can be stripped of your runes for raziel's sake!" she yelled in a whisper.

"One, ouch. Two, can you please let me explain before you bombard me with your outburst"

We sat down on my bed as I explained everything from my point of view.

"I respect your opinion, but the clave wants you in for questioning. Your father is very disappointed, but he wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt" I sighed, thinking how disappointed the whole family is because of my decision.

"What happened to Izzy?"

"We placed her under arrested. Her personal connection with Meliorn has been seen as a threat. Inquisitor Herondale will be arriving tomorrow morning for her trial" she explains.

"I'm so dead" I mumbled.

"Alec told me you have the cup, where is it?" She asked.

"I hid it with me"

"Good. I'm sure they'll let you of the hook if you give it to them"

"I sure hope so..." I sighed.

She then shook her head before engulfing me into a hug.

"I won't loose you, I can't..."

After the weird breakfast I had with my alternate parents, I walked out of the loft until I reached the park, then I bumped into Simon and Alana.

"Hey, where have you been?" She asked.

"Yeah, I've been texting you for the past twenty minutes" Simon said before I immediately pushed him back.

"Simon, get out of the sun" I said, practically yelled.

"What the hell?" Alana said, furrowing her eyebrows.

"I know that look... caffeine deprivation. Come on" Simon said as he dragged me, pulling me away.

"Simon, I don't have time to get coffee today!" I yell, pulling my hand away as he pushed me to sit down on a stool.
