"You're gonna hurt yourself" I told Alec.
He took his last punch using his wounded arm making him flinch a bit.
"It was the clave who gave the order not them"
"Are you sure about that?"
"Hey, you alright?" Jace immediately asked as he entered the training room.
"I'm fine" Alec muttered.
"He's in denial" I said.
"I just spoke with Maryse and Robert. They're being sent back to Idris." Jace sighed.
"Another order from Lydia?" I spat but Alec just glared at me.
"Lydia didn't have anything to do about that" We looked behind us and saw Alana entering the training room.
As much as I love her. I'm currently pissed with her at the moment.
"I was the one who requested Maryse and Robert's return" she said
"Wait, Lydia? As in Lydia Branwell?" Jace asked.
"Yeah. How do you know her?" How does Jace know that bitch.
"She's Lana's..." He stopped when Lana glared at him.
"She's Alana's what?"
"She's my parabatai" she spoke up.
Me and Alec were shocked. Jace wasn't even surprised so I guess he knew.
"Your parabatai with that bitch?" I scowled.
"Isabelle!" Alec warned as she sighed.
"What does your parabatai have to do with all of these?" Jace asked Lana.
"She's in charge of the institute now" I said, making Jace's eyes widen.
"Wrong, I'm the one in charge" Alana says.
"Temporarily" Alec scoffs.
"Now Alana seems to have convinced the clave that mom and dad aren't doing their job..." I spat.
"That's not-"
"Maybe they aren't" Alec shrugged.
"Alec" Alana warned.
"What do you mean?" Jace asked.
"Mom and dad were members of the circle" my eyes widened in shock.
"What? They don't have circle runes" I said, confused.
"It's because they made a deal with the clave prior to the uprising. In exchange for their cooperation they were pardoned" Lana explained.
"You knew about this!?" Jace asked her, slightly pissed.
"You're questioning their loyalty" I looked at Alec in disbelief.
How could he say this? Their our parents for Raziel's sake.
"Valentine is back. The circle is rising. They're under suspicion" Alec simply said, crossing his arms on his chest.
