I was in the middle of a arguement with Marshall when he packed up in my face and left. In the story it takes place in 1998 and 2001

"I don't wanna be that call at four o'clock in the morning. Cause I'm the only one you know in the world that won't be home!" We were in a hotel since I had a gig. "I KNOW MARISSA! YOU NEED HELP!" I fell against the bathroom door and he held my hands. My voice hoarse I choked out the words I need to hear the most. "Please say you love me, Marshall." He remained silent. "PLEASE SAY YOU LOVE ME AND THIS IS GOING TO BE OKAY!" I screamed choking up. "I can't do that Marissa." I felt the wetness of tears and my web of fears unravel. "Then, I can't be with you anymore." He looked at me just as shocked. I watched him stand up and walk out. The tears poured out my eyes and I stand up and watch him leave. It's the last thing I want but, he'll be back. I hope.

October 1,2001

I was cooking dinner with my sister when He came on the TV. "It looks like we found the other half of you." Emily said. "He is not my missing half. He is a asswhole." "You're only saying that because, you are happy he's going to divorce his baby mama." I rolled my eyes and Emily laughed. "Your acting like a fan. OH WAIT!" "Emily shut up!" "Eminem, Emily the two close people to you." "EMILY I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!" We walked out the house locking the door. I was wearing a blue dress and brought a swimming suit for this party I was going to. We listened Alicia Keys' album. When we pulled up the music went through my car and I had sweaty palms. Emily hopped out and walked to the house. I walked to the room upstairs when, the door opened and Marshall was there.

Two weeks later

It had been two weeks since I saw him. I didn't understand why I was upset. We are 'dating' but, I don't like waking up unless he's here. I don't eat to much anymore. It's like I have to depend on something I have. I laid in my bed and broke my 3 years of sobriety. The drink slid down my throat filling the empty spaces and then my front door opened I closed the bottle hiding it in a trash can. I walked into the living room and there he was shocked. "Marshall." "Marissa, what the hell happened and why are you so skinny?" He asked cutting me off. I played with my hands and told him. "I depend on you at times and I needed to depend on something for now so, I ruinned 3 good years because of one sip." "Well how much did you drink?" I picked up the bottle and smirked. "It doesn't look like you drank a lot." He said his tone softening. He hugged and kissed me before laying down with me. "I had to do a couple of concerts two weeks in a row. So I couldn't visit." He looked at me closely. "Mari?" He asked. "Yes, Marsh." "I really do love you." He said. I leaned on his shoulder tears falling out my eyes and I could hardly breathe. "I love you too." I said leaning deeper into the guy I knew I wanted to marry.
