Kokichi: i wonder how it will be like to get drunk

Shuichi: Get drunk? We are still minors, you know, having a new year party doesn't change it.

Kokichi: k im nicknaming u as no-fun-shumai

Shuichi: Wasn't "Shumai" already a nickname?

Kokichi: youre no fun

Shuichi: ...

Shuichi turned off his phone, and looked at the clock. Last one hour. He went to the door and unlocked it. He wore his shoes. He needed to get going.

He knocked at Maki's door, waiting for her to open it.

Kaito: Oh HELLO SIDEKICK!

Shuichi: Oh, hi Kaito-kun.

Shuichi looked inside.

Shuichi: Is everybody already here?-

Kaito: Yup, looks like everybody is excited for the party, well, don't worry, you're just in time.

Shuichi sighed. He didn't want to be the odd one out.

Kaito: What are you waiting for? Come in!

Shuichi stepped in, immediately getting hugged by Kokichi.

Kokichi: You're finally here Shumai! I got really bored waiting here all by myself and you weren't answering my texts and Kaito-chan is so booooooooring and Maki-chan won't even talk to me and-

Shuichi: Okay, okay, nice to see you too Kokichi-kun.

Kokichi smiled, letting Shuichi go as they both walked towards the living room, Kaito following them.

Kaede: Oh, hi Shuichi-kun! We were just talking about how coffee was made!

Kokichi's smiled turned into a sly one as Shuichi sighed.

Kokichi: I brought up the topic!

Shuichi: I can guess that.
