Kaede: What 'bout you Shuichi-kun?

Shuichi turned to Kaede. He wasn't expecting this question.

Shuichi: Me?.. UH.. I, uh...

He saw Kokichi looking at him. He was, curious about his crush? UH, Shuichi was totally overthinking, everybody was curious about his crush... Right?

Shuichi thought. Who? Who could be his crush? Who was he close enough to have a crush on? Kaede? No, she wasn't exactly his type. You know, she was a great friend and all, but no.

Maki? Naah, Kaito already had her heart. It also wasn't like Maki would accept him as her lover.

Who else? NO NOT MIU, NO. Kirumi was't his favorite friend. Tsumigi? No, he had quite bad memories about her.

He looked at the room. At his every friend in front of him. Kokichi... He was smiling again. He watched Kokichi sit on the couch. 

Shuichi finally knew who his crush was.

Shuichi: I do have a crush.

Kaede was excited, she was looking like her every single cell wanted to learn who his crush was.

Kaede: Oh, really? Who is she? Or he in this case.

Shuichi smiled shyly.

Shuichi: It's a he. And um, he is in this room, so I don't want to actually tell his name...

Kaede: Ooh, nice. Aand Maki, who's yours?

Maki: Why do you care?

Kaede: It's just a question, you know.

Shuichi didn't pay attention to the rest of the conversation. He was thinking about Kokichi, watching him. His expression changes, his talking style... He... He was so in love, for the first time.
