THE DRAGONBORN AND DAENERYS SAT OVER THEIR GRINDSTONES SHARPENING THEIR SWORDS. They had spent the night cleaning their armor, repairing weapons writing letters warning the leaders of Tamriel of the impending danger. The last letter that the Dragonborn wrote was to the Emperor for only the Emperor could release the Blades. The Dovahkiin was worried that the Emperor of Tamriel would fail to heed his warning and not allow the Akaviri to fight in Middle-earth. The Dragonborn feared that if Morgoth and Sauron escaped imprisonment, they would bring the war to Tamriel and they would be hopeless to stop them. Daenerys tried to reassure her husband not to lose faith, but he found it hard not. He also was worried for his son Talion who would be seeing combat for the first time. Daenerys could see the worry in his eyes and stopped her grindstone and laid her head on her husband's shoulder and kissed him.

"You worry too much. The combined armies of Middle-earth, the Empire and Tamriel we can hold against the forces of Morgoth and Sauron" Daenerys told the Dragonborn in a gentle voice. "Have faith that you will help lead us to victory."

"Dany, Morgoth is a powerful Valar that overran the High Elves of Beleriand and nearly defeated the Valar. I don't believe I'm powerful enough to overthrow him" the Dragonborn answered quietly. "In fact, I'm quite sure I'd be killed."

Daenerys stiffened at her husband's response "I don't want to hear you speaking like that again. I don't want to see my husband losing faith in himself. What if Talion sees or hears you speak like this. All that training will have been for nothing for he will doubt his abilities and himself. You are the Dragonborn of Skyrim. Even Miraak fell to your power."

The Dragonborn opened his mouth to answer, but he sensed a presence enter the room. It was a presence he had not felt since the Battle of Black Rock in Morrowind. He turned and found himself looking at Eru Illuvatar. It was only the second time the creator of the world had visited the Dragonborn. The first time was to save his life. Daenerys also looked at the celestial being and immediately fell to one knee, bowing her head.

"My Lord, you honor us with your visit" Daenerys could only manage.

"Your husband speaks truth Daenerys. He may have been able to defeat Sauron, but Morgoth is far more powerful. The time the Psijic's spoke of is near and you Dragonborn will be forced to walk a dark path" Eru told the former queen motioning her to stand.

"Are you saying my husband is going to die" Daenerys asked the fear in her voice clear.

"I cannot reveal your husband's destiny. We have watched young Talion learn to use the Voice and the believe that he is ready to assume the throne" Eru replied. "The Dragonborn Emperor will sit on the throne of Tamriel and Westeros and peace will be known."

"My Lord when I became Dragonborn, the Greybeards told me I was the last of my kind. The last Dragonborn. Yet my youngest son and my grandchild are both Dragonborn. Didn't Akatosh decree that the Thu'um is a gift and not hereditary" the Dragonborn asked.

Eru sat on a bench and began a tale that the Dragonborn and Daenerys never heard before "You were told as a child that Akatosh was one of the Divines. The truth is he was once a Maiar who was seduced into service by Melkor. Impressed by his strength, Melkor made Akatosh one of his chief lieutenants, responsible for the creation of the first Uruloki Glaurung. After Melkor's defeat, for his penance, Akatosh was ordered to destroy the remaining drakes and exiled from Valinor never to return. Like a plague they spread across the world taking hold in Arda and Tamriel. Akatosh then bestowed the gift of the Thu'um to man to rid the world of their vile kind."

"Are you saying that Akatosh, one of the Divines was a servant of evil." Daenerys could only quietly stutter in disbelief. "What about the Aedra and Daedra?"
