Ryujin's POV
The cold breeze of the wind still hits my covered arms. This winter is too much. I hope this ends as soon as possible.
I saw Yeji standing near the stop light, I can recognize her back here from where I'm standing. I removes my scarf before cautiously walking behind her who has no clue of my presence either.
"Pretty..." I mumbled and before she could turn to face me, I slowly wraps the scarf around her neck. I heard her softly chuckling that made me smile.
"You almost gave me a heart attack." Yeji stated. I held her hand as I stood beside her.
"Why do you love surprising me, Ryu..." she added with a chuckle.
"Where should we meet Seulgi?" I asked.
"In café," we crosses the street as the stop light turned green.
"Yeddeong-ah, let's go to the flower shop that I was talking before. It's just there," I pointed a shop ahead of us but it's not still visible in our eyes since the surrounding is a bit foggy, "I'm just going to look if there's pretty bouquet for my pretty girlfriend."
"Do you remember the first bouquet you gave? It all wilted but I kept the petals in a jar..." Yeji mumbled while pulling out something from her jacket, "And here..." I looked at the back of her phone and sees one petal that I didn't notice. It's wilted but it perfectly camouflage the rose gold color of her phone.
I lifted our holding hands and kisses her hand, quickly glancing at her with a smile on my lips.
If only I got a mom like Seulgi, I would surely introduce Yeji the way she deserves. She's genuine..elegant...she's something I'll never want to lose.
"Don't go, Ryujin-ah..." she suddenly mumbled.
"Where would I go?" I curiously asked while looking ahead.
"I...I just feel like you're going to leave or to leave me?" I holds her hand more tight because of that.
This girl...
"I'm not going anywhere and I'll never leave you, Yeji." I stated.
"That's a relief then..." Yeji smiled a bit that didn't satisfy my heart.
"I want to know what's running inside your head. I'm afraid that there might be something bothering you." I said.
I know I've been into worse these days but I hope it's not having a domino effect where Yeji's feeling all of it. Where Yeji's overthinking about those matters she shouldn't be thinking about. I'm afraid that my alibis aren't really working.
"How about you?"
"I'll tell you if there is." I answered.
With a few steps, we reached the flower shop. Yeji blows into the glass door, drawing a heart on it before entering the flower shop. I smiled because of it.
Just how she drew a heart on my palm back then...
"Hello," Yeji quickly approached.
