Chapter 15

*Louis's POV*

I saw her heart monitor go flat, and everything stopped.
"Gabi!" I gasped.
"We need a doctor!" Colette yelled as she ran out of the door, "please! My friend! Her heart stopped beating!"
"Gabi, please! You can't die!" I sobbed.
"Where are her parents?!" Kennedy asked.
"In the food court maybe?" Niall responded.
"I'll go get them!" Kennedy called as she ran off.
Immediately, three doctors in blue scrubs ran into the room with an oxygen mask. They quickly covered her mouth with the mask and started to preform CPR.
"1...2...3..." I heard them count as they pushed down onto her chest.
I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned back to see Niall. "She'll come back Louis. You just need to stay strong."
I felt the tears pour down my face. I suddenly heard the monitor start to return to a normal beat.
"Oh thank god," I whispered to myself.
One of the doctors turned toward me and said, "Your girlfriend experienced a brief moment of cardiac arrest. Her heart is functioning correctly again, but she is still unconscious."
"She's not my girlfriend..." I admitted shyly.
"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." He said.
"Not yet," I whispered as I looked at Gabi.
"Sorry. What did you say?"
"Oh, nothing. Thanks so much doctor," I replied quickly.
"We are going to preform some tests on her heart to make sure she has no other complications," another doctor said as they started to wheel her bed out of the room.
"Okay," I said as I sniffled up my tears.

I was exhausted. I laid down on the small couch in the hospital room and fell asleep.

"Louis! Wake up!" I heard Niall scream.
I quickly sat up and saw Kennedy and Colette crying.
"What's going on?!" I asked.
"Gabi... She's dead," Colette said in between sobs.

Suddenly, I woke up. It was just a dream.
