"Perrie! Abby! They're here! Come down here!" I hear my mum yelling. Perrie and I are sitting in my room talking about which skirt looked nicer with which shirt. "Just wear the pink one with the grey shirt." she tells me before leaving the room.
I throw on the outfit she described and look at myself in the mirror. Ick. My nose isn't helping either. At least it draws some attention from my body.
"Jo! It's so great to see you!" my mum exclaims, hugging Louis's mum. "You too! It's been too long!" Johannah says. She turns to me. "Abby! You've grown up so much!" She pulls me into a hug, obviously trying to avoid hitting my nose. "I don't know if you remember the girls, the last time you saw them they were only babies." "Fizzy and Daisy and Phoebe! I remember." I say, smiling politely. "Wow! You really are something, Ab." she says, nudging my arm.
Lottie comes up to me, and gives me a tight hug. "So I heard you fell, huh?" "Yeah, I did." "Sorry to hear that, girlie."
I could hear Perrie calling Lottie's name, and she said, "Gotta go catch up with Per, see you outside in a bit." she smiles at me and walks up the stairs to Perrie's room.
"Me and Jo will be in the kitchen finishing up the meal, could you take Abby to the store to pick up some pop, Louis?" my mum asks him. He looks at me and smiles, "Sure! No problem." She kisses his cheek and he comes over to me. "Ready?"
When we get out of the house and onto the sidewalk, I say something. "She thinks I need to be 'babysat' because I 'fell' and broke my nose." He laughs lightly. "It's fine, we need a little catching up anyway." "So what have you been doing?" I ask him. "Well, Mark and mum finally got married, the twins have grown up really quickly, and my friend Zayn and I own a condom business."
I can't help but laugh. "What?! That's ridiculous, Louis!" he hits my arm playfully. "You're still quite the joker, aren't you?" I ask him. "Haven't changed that much then, have I?" Well, he surely has gotten more attractive..
When we get the pop and are close to being home, Louis turns to me and says "So what do you think we're eating?" "I'm not sure, but if it's anything your mum cooked it will surely be fantastic!" "Yeah, my mum is quite the cook." "I remember when she made those really good treacle tarts.. mmmm.." "Hah! She makes those all the time for the twins! They love them, too."
We walk in the door together and hand our mums the bag of pops. "Thanks guys, it should be ready in a few minutes." "Okay!" I say. I walk into the living room and plop down on the couch. Louis sits down next to me.
"Wanna watch the telly?" I ask him. "Not unless you have Fat Friends." "Lou! I forgot about that!" He laughs at me. "Yeah, it was one of my first acting jobs ya know." "I know, Lou. It was a good show. You wanna watch it? I think we have it on a tape." "Oh, no- it was terrible! I was just joking around!" "I figured." I say, giggling.
"Kids! Food!" I hear my mum yelling to all of us. I hear Perrie and Lottie run down the stairs talking about summer camp, and the girls romping around in the kitchen.
When I get outside I see the picnic table is covered in food. "Watermelon!" Daisy yells, grabbing some before Johannah can stop her. This makes me laugh. I turn to see Louis staring at me, smiling.
"What?" I ask him. He shakes his head and looks away. I smirk and hit his arm. "Hey, mum?" she turns to me. "Yeah Ab?" "Can I eat inside?" She lifts her eyebrow and I point to my nose. "Yeah, if it's bothering you sweetie." She hands me a plate and I put a piece of watermelon and some chips on it.
I walk up the stairs to my room an set the plate on my desk. I flop down back first on my bed, and sigh. Why was Louis staring at me? Is it my nose? Damn. What if he thinks I'm ugly? What if he doesn't want to be friends anymore?
I hear a small knock on my door.
Sorry it took me SOO long to update.. I lost my iPod but my bus driver gave it back to me yesterday. My mom keeps taking away our wifi.
I want to warn you guys that the next few chapters may have to do with harming ones self. Don't hate- it's a problem lots of people have, and I feel like it should be recognized and everyone that does it should be helped.Lots of love xx
