"What's wrong?" i asked as we walked into the Whyte Wyrm getting closer Penny Peabody, I knew this was going to bite me in the ass "My Queens how have you been? i heard you're dating FP's boy, did he tell you what he and his gang had done to me" Peabody said and i sat down with Mary by my side at the head of the table "care to explain" i said looking at Peabody then at FP.

"All right, order of the Ophidians." i heard Jughead said coming in and i kept my eyes on Mary as everyone moved back so that we could see him and he could see us.

"Jughead Jones, did you really think you'd see the last of me?" she said smiling "What's the Snake Charmer doing here?" Jughead asked and i couldn't even look at him i kept my face turned towards Mary

"Jughead Jones, did you really think you'd see the last of me?" she said smiling "What's the Snake Charmer doing here?" Jughead asked and i couldn't even look at him i kept my face turned towards Mary. "Mel?" he said calling out to me "No, I brought her in, to help us." Tallboy said as i glanced over at him. "We don't need Penny's kind of help."

"You don't get a say any more since you broke Serpent law and hurt one of our own kind Penny was about to tell your girlfriend, Show her, Penny. Show 'em all." Tallboy said and Penny looked at everyone then back at me before putting her arm on the table and lifting up her sleeve. "That used to be my Serpent tattoo until your boyfriend sliced a chunk outta my arm and left me bleeding in a ditch in Greendale." she said and i rubbing my hand across my face trying to think of how I'm going to solve this, looking at Mary then at FP they stared at me waiting for me to do something.

"But I'm still willing to help the Serpents. Tall Boy showed me those eviction notices they're legit. Luckily, I can think of about 41 ways to stall the process and I'm talking years."

"What's your price, Penny?" i asked afraid to at the same time. "Blood for blood. An eye for an eye I want back in with the Serpents and I want him kicked out. Oh, yeah, one last thing... I want his tattoo carved off and I want to do it myself with a dirty knife." she said while she stared at Jughead.

"Mel?"

"Jughead please leave we have a lot to discuss" i said finally looking up at him and he stared at me for a moment before nodded and walking back out.

"Well? What did they say? Are they kicking me out?" Jughead asked as FP and i walked into the trailer Mary had to meet up with Betts after the meeting on what was going to happen to Jughead "There's gonna be a vote you versus Penny." i said tossing my helmet on the couch.

"Me versus...What, they can't see what we get? With Penny in the picture?"

"Penny's a cobra, but mutilating her? That's the kind of thing you don't come back from, Jughead"

"Yeah, like stuffing a teenager's body in a freezer?" Jughead said looking at his father and before i knew what i was doing i had Jughead against the wall with my switchblade on his throat "You need to learn to keep your damn mouth shut. Tall Boy was right i shouldn't protect you, you brought the Northside down on us, Serpent's are losing their dens because of what you wrote."

"Mel?" i heard Fp said and i glared at him and he just sat down as i continued "Don't kid yourself you're using my article and they're using what happened to the statue of General Pickens as an excuse to justify something they've already been doing."

"You think you're a hero, Jughead? Cutting up women? Bringing the temple down right on our damn heads? " i yelled at him as i pushed my switchblade harder against his throat "Mel stop you're going to kill him!" i heard Fp yelled pulling my off of him "don't fucking touch me FP you know what's going to happen, you know what we got ahead of us" i said pushing Fp away and turning towards Jughead as he kept his hand on his neck as he stared at me "You will be the death of us, not the Northside, not Penny. You." i said as i slammed the front door on my way out and hopping on my bike heading to who knows where.
