you fall asleep on her lap

A movie night with Seulgi was in order after your long, stressful day. She let you choose whatever it was that you wanted to watch, her only condition in letting you choose was that you let yourself relax for the first time all day; and it wasn't exactly hard to do when she was holding you close, keeping you warm and secure in her embrace.

"Thank you for suggesting this. I'm happy we get some time to spend together." You mumbled with your head on her shoulder, turning your cheek to lay a little kiss to her collarbone.

"Me too, y/n. You seem to be feeling better now."

You nodded your head before yawning, making her chuckle.

"And it seems like the day is catching up to you. If you're tired you can sleep."

You shook your head and said, "I'm okay, don't worry."

She knew otherwise. She could tell you were sleepy from the bags under your eyes and how drained of energy you seemed. But she knows you won't willingly fall asleep on a night like tonight, but she knows just what to do to make you melt and cave in to your tiredness.

"Okay." She spoke, seemingly willing to drop the subject. "At least lay your head on my lap, baby. You'll be comfortable like that."

You didn't hesitate to do just that.

Head falling onto her lap, you let yourself relax. You turned your face to let your gaze fall back onto the film, but you turned away as soon as you felt Seulgi begin to comb her fingers through your hair and her nails gently scratched your head.

"Seulgi," you whined and pouted your lips as you turned back to her. "you're gonna make me sleepy."

"I know." She chuckled. "Y/n, you're exhausted. You deserve to get some sleep."

It's not like you could argue when you found so much comfort in her touch. It assuaged your worries and stresses, as always.

"There's still time left in the day to do whatever you want when you wake up. But for now, you need and deserve some rest, and I'll be right here holding you the whole time."

"Can you sing to me, too?"

You felt her lips brush against your temple, lingering for only a moment before they traveled to your ear. She sang softly and hummed a familiar melody in your ear until you were fast asleep with a small smile on your face.

She didn't stop until a few minutes went by, spent with butterflies in her chest and a sparkle in her eyes as she stared at you and watched you breathe.

"Love you so much," she whispered in your ear then kissed your cheek lingeringly, deciding that she'd rather spend her time admiring you than doing anything else.
