Chapter 3

It's been only a week and my mum hasn't called or texted me back I've tried but she won't answer

Maybe she never really cared I mean she must have not if she would just leave me

I knew my dad didn't care because a drunk is a drunk they have no control over what they say really

But my mum has always been there yet she left I can't believe this she just didn't seem like she would do that

I've texted Luke a few times but I haven't really told him about my mum leaving I feel embarrassed because my family's complete shit

And Michael, Luke and me have already made plans to hang at his place I think I might talk to Luke about it but I'll probably chicken out

I just need someone to talk to an I have no one else to turn to anymore my mom was like the person if go to

My phone buzzes and I see it's from Luke speak of the devil

"Hey so you still need a ride to Mikey's"

"Yeah my cars still broke :("

I haven't got it fixed yet can't really afford to right now I'm still looking for a job and I'm broke so there's no way

"It's fine I'll be there in half an hour see you"

I notice the message pop up on my screen and get ready

I've been at Mikey's a lot with the guys I go there when my dad starts drinking I just have to get out when he does that

I haven't really told anyone about my dad being a drunk except Luke

But that was because the other when Luke dropped me off and my dad came out and cussed me for not making dinner and calling me a stupid slut it was really embarrassing

I had to explain to him about how my dad was a drunk because he didn't want me to go in but I had to he would never hurt me I have to convince him of it

But I made him promise not to tell the other guys I don't want them to know

I'm finally dressed and trying to find some socks to put on real quick

Digging in my drawer I finally found a pair not really matching but what ever

I notice it's already been 20 minutes so I just put my hair up in a messy bun not caring cause it's just the guys

"Here a little early sorry"

Luke's outside I was ready just in time to not run late

"Okay be out in a second"

I grab my grey vans to match my leggings and put them on quickly

I head out of my room and grab my bag with pjs on the way out them rowing my bag over my shoulder

I'm staying at the guys tonight with Lex when she gets there

Were all JUST friends that's it so it's no biggy

As I walk down stairs all I can smell is alcohol and I get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach

I notice my dads sitting on the couch with a bottle of vodka in his hands swinging it back to his mouth

I'm just not gonna say anything maybe he won't talk to me I gotta get going

"Where do you thing your going?" His words slurring and mumbled

"T-to my friends I'll be home later" I tell him afraid of the harsh words next

"What friends you have none your only friend died remember, and if by friends you mean that guy that's been driving you around he's just in it for sex or maybe that's you, you dumb slut" his voice starts to raise as he take a swig of the vodka that's almost gone
