Chapter 5

A/n So wattpad only updated half of this chapter at first so I had to go back and fix it so it's not the exact same thing but anyways don't forget to favorite and sorry for the late update

I've been packing all my stuff to move out finally I mean it's been a month without my mom

The only thing is I'm moving out next week but I have a shit ton of stuff to pack since I've never moved I'm not good at this

Me and Lex have talked with her parents and I'm able to move in with them just for a little bit at least

I told them about my father and what he's like and how my mom left and I don't want to be with just him 24/7

They said I can have the guest room next to Lex's which is very generous

Luke is gonna come over and help later but I've been trying to get most stuff

The only reason I'm having him come over is because my dads leaving me with his little 'girlfriend'

And Luke's pretty good company in all honesty

I have to go through all my stuff to see what I want to bring and what's garbage

There's a few old boxes under my bed I pull out from years or more ago

As I open it I can tell most of it is useless I can just get rid of it

But as I go through it I see a picture frame it immediately grabs my attention as I reach for it

It's an old picture of my family when we were happy we all had a real smile on our faces

My dad wasn't a drunk yet

My sister hadn't died (she died when I was young lost her to a rare type of childhood cancer it was a very hard time for me and the rest of my family so we don't talk about it to much)

And most importantly my mother hadn't left

She still hadn't called or texted me again since last week and I'm actually glad I sit want anything to do with her now

I put that picture in the pile to get rid of
I shouldn't keep memories that make me sad I want to start over start fresh

Hopefully moving out of this house will help I hear my phone buzz on my end table and grab it it's from Luke

'Hey running a little late be there in 10'

'It's fine no hurry:)'

I text him back letting him know I'll be fine

What could happen in ten minutes?

I continue packing my stuff like clothes and small things around my room

I mean I still have a week but I'm barley here so I wanna get this done asap

I hear a car door and look out the window and see Luke's here I head down stairs to unlock the door for him

As soon as I reach the bottom stair I can already see my dad has left

As I walk through the kitchen I can hear Sarah on the phone with my father at least I think

The only reason I believe it's him because she's screaming at him. I open the front door

"Hey" I smile at him

He pulls me into a hug and I just laugh
I haven't really gone over to Michael's or seen Luke because they've been working with their band

"So I've got a bit done but there's still a lot left" I tell him walking up the stairs
