Chapter 17: Clash with the Demons (Part 1)

The clouds are like white marble sat across a blue satin. They formed perfect neat lines above as the wind is dragging them with the calming whispery hymn. Eventually, the grey shadows blanket began to cast to the beautiful view, robbing its calmness to turn it into eeriness.

We've been traveling across the continents for days, and according to Marina, we are near to the Sun Kingdom. Wherein her son was living. Her son might be a king vessel, just like me. Our group was divided into two; the first one was led by Athena, in which Savannah, Glifford, Freya, Dark, Alendis, and Sophia were the group. The second was us and was led by Artemis while Axel was left in the Cerulean Kingdom. He even said that he needs to get to his 'wife' that even Alendis and Artemis do not know. Naging pabor naman kay Alexis ang paggawa ng grupohan dahil unang-una ay ayaw niyang makasama ang nanay n'ya at pangalawa, marami ang naghahanap sa amin ngayon, and traveling with a big group might cause a riot.

Aside from watching the horizon, I have other entertainment, and it is to watch someone's beautiful eyes. I don't even care if the cloud grows cold, as long as I can see her cinnamon eyes.

"May crush ka talaga sa kaibigan ko 'no?" Emerald whispered; a kinky smile appeared across her face, making me laugh at her.

She's a mighty demigod, but her problem is that she can't control her blessing. And a single mistake can cause bloodshed - that is what she said.

But because Alexis always has ways to help her. The surroundings turned dim for an instant, and as we blink our eyes, four figures with sickening aura stood in front, standing at the top of the trees while brooding at us. I gripped tighter at my sword, and those crimson hungry eyes were eyeing Marina, who was now looking down at her wrist.

Marina was biting her lip as she was silently embracing the pain of her wrist. Alyssa's pale golden eyes brooded at our uninvited guest with a nervous smirk across her face, "Tangina, sabihin mo nga wala silang dalang handa kung mamumulungan sila," Alyssa whispered to Marina.

The deafening silence screamed at us, and the horizon that was supposed to offered calmness become the key for our rising tension. Alexis's eyes laid upon me, sending me a signal to be alert.

"There is a king vessel in that group," A woman with charcoal hair stated. The other three looked at me as if they are looking down as I looked above them.

"He will not cause a single scratch to us. He doesn't even have servitour with him," The mightiest one said. Even without them stating their names, I am a hundred percent sure that he is Satan. With that posture, and that calm yet suffocating evilness lurking around him was already enough to confirm his name.
