the clock read 8:37 as chou finally was in front of her classroom. she huffed from running across the building but composed herself before she knocked on the door. preparing herself to be embarrassed. she knocked on the door and held her breath as it slid open to reveal the teacher, who did not look happy.

"ah, miss shishido. i was wondering where you were. it is not very appropriate to be late on the first day on school." the teacher said.
"yes ma'am! i am so sorry, it will not happen again!" you exclaimed.
"okay, i will hold you to that. go ahead and get in your assigned seat. it is the table with suna at it, suna please raise your hand so miss shishido can see where you are."

a boy lazily raised his hand, the same boy from the train. chou's eyes widened as she saw he wasn't wearing the wet uniform anymore. but he was wearing a tracksuit that consisted of a maroon jacket and white pants. 'is he allowed to wear clothes that aren't uniform in class' she thought as she walked over. she sat down and tried to calm herself after her stressful morning. she sat her bag on the floor and put her water bottle and the form from the office, which she had been too busy running to read, on the table.

she began to listen to the teacher spout the same speech she heard last year, the school rules and such when she felt a tap on her shoulder. she turned and saw suna looking at her with half lidded eyes.
"hey, uh sorry for splashing you earlier." he said with a very disinterested look.
"yeah it's fine, just watch where you're going and listen to the teacher. she's talking." she said, annoyed.
"yes ma'am" suna said turning back to face forward.

the class period was ending and the break before the next period was about to begin. as the teacher ended her long boring speech and left the classroom chou started to get her studying supplies out. having nothing better to do during break.

as she did so she felt eyes on her. she turned to see suna burning a hole through her head with his eyes. he looked at her then at her area of the table and back.
"i'm sorry? can i help you?" she said with a slight attitude, feeling as though staring is rude.
"yeah, so you're the volleyball manager?" suna questioned.
"um, no i'm not the manger?" she said back confused.
"huh... that's interesting. are you sure your not lying to me?" he said with a smile.
"excuse me? why would i lie about something like that? i said i'm not the manager, now if you'll leave me to study." she returned, angry that he would not leave her alone.
he chuckled and put his hands up "well soooorry." he dragged and then pointed to the form next to her water. "this says differently miss... chou-san" he said as he read her signature off of the form.
"wait, what?" she grabbed the form and saw it was for sports management, volleyball management to be more specific. chou deadpanned at this, looking further down the form to see the office lady's signature and her own. she started to clench the paper in her hands as the words ran through her head.
'by the way, since i squeezed you in you can't change your project or drop it.'

she came back to earth to see suna next to her looking very confused but equally amused by her. "well, you look like you're about to explode so i'm gonna take my leave." he got up and started to walk out of the class since it was still break.

she watched him walk away in disbelief
'no, no, no i don't know anything about volleyball. what the hell am i going to do.'
she thought and then looked back to suna as he walked away. as she watched him walk away something caught her eye.
'you have got to be fucking. kidding.' she thought to herself as she read the words "inarizaki boys volleyball" off of the back of suna's jacket.
