{first person - chou}we had been driving for about ten minutes talking back and forth about a lot of nothing.
"anyway, i never asked you how you got the necklace." i said looking over at him driving. he was still slumped back like he was when he was smoking.
"you know when you were talking to the teacher and i started touching your hair and neck? ...then." he said with a victorious smile.
"wait are you serious? i'm not even going to lie, that's impressive. you did it really fast. but could you have not made up another lie other than wanting to touch my hair? the whole class heard, that shit was embarrassing suna." i said, slightly pouting now.
"yes i am a man of many skills. and it wasn't a lie. i did want to touch your hair. i probably would've done it anyway but the necklace gave me a reason to." he said taking his eyes off of the road for a second to see me blushing.
"hey! eyes on the road! don't look at me." i said huffing and turning toward my window. "how far is the party, we've been driving for like ten minutes." i said.
"we're still about twenty minutes out." he said, gripping the steering wheel with one hand.
"WHAT? ITS THIRTY MINUTES AWAY?!" i yelled, not realizing what i had gotten myself into.
"hey hey." he laughed. "chill, it's fine. here, play some music you like, the time will pass faster." he said to me trying to calm me down.
"ugh fine, where's the aux cord?" i said looking around.
"it's right next to you." he said, giving very vague directions.
"that's not very helpful." i said, still looking for the cord.
"agh, you're so helpless chou-chan." he said, reaching over me, leaving his left hand on the steering wheel. he was still looking at the road but leaned over my lap to the compartment on my door, grabbing the cord from it. i blushed as he leaned on my lap, his arm brushing my stomach. he sat back up, putting the cord in my hand and telling me where to plug it in.
i plugged in into the radio and then plugged the chord into my phone. i went through my music and was looking for which song i wanted to play.
"don't play any shitty music, i'll take your aux privileges away." he said glancing at me.
"oh please, like you have any taste." i said back. "you like the weekend right?" i asked going to my favorite songs of his.
"uh yeah, you stalker. how'd you know?"
"well you were blasting it in front of my apartment numb nuts. my whole building knows you like the weekend now." i said, talking to him like he's an idiot.
"oopsie." he said while i turned on "wicked games" by the weekend. "oh shit i love this song." he said turning the volume up.
"i left my girl back home, i don't love her no more." suna mumbled to himself as he tapped the steering wheel on beat.i was just admiring him drive, he was a good driver. he was speeding, a lot. but i still felt safe, he had made sure i put on my seatbelt anyways. i was enjoying the ride, the music, and his company. but the moment was ruined when suna suddenly sang along very loudly when the lyric "let me see that ass." came on. looking over at me, smiling like an idiot.
"way to ruin the moment dumbass." i said with an annoyed face.
"oh, we were having a moment huh?" he said.
"no. are we almost there?" i said, even more annoyed now.
"yeah, about five minutes. can u go ahead and get my bag out of the back?" he asked.
"yeah." i unbuckled quickly and bent over the console, trying to reach the bag. my arm couldn't quite reach it so i went further over the console. right as i grabbed the bag the car jerked. i looked to suna, concerned. only to see him looking over to my ass that was over the console. "realll classy, suna." i said sitting back down in my seat and smacking the back of his head, making the car jerk again. he just looked at me with a guilty expression. "what's in this bag anyway?" i said trying to change the subject.
"go ahead and look." he said.
i unzipped the bag and saw a rolling tray, rolling paper, a grinder, and a clear bag of his weed. "oh shit you're prepared huh?" i said laughing.
"you smoke?" he asked.
"i've done it two or three times. but i'm not a stoner like someone." i said turning my head to look at him.
"yeah, yeah. you gonna smoke with me tonight?"
"hmmm i'll think about it. but i'm definitely gonna drink. i don't know if i want to be cross faded." i said back to him.
"ah so miss perfect smokes AND drinks?!" he said with a surprise that seemed fake.
"there a difference from being perfect and having your shit together. you clearly wouldn't know the difference." i said leaning over and tapping him on the nose. i looked forward and realized we were here. it was a nice neighborhood, big houses and a lot of cars parked on the road. a lot of nice cars that is. i could hear loud music and saw colored lights coming from one of the houses. 'okay so that's where the party is.' i thought to myself.
"okay, we're here. let's go." suna said putting the car in park on the side of the road.
