The dorm was beautiful.  It was like a large apartment with a kitchen, living room and a bathroom on the first floor.  A spiral staircase lead up to sort of a balcony on the second floor.  McKenna twirled around in circles taking in all the wonderful things that were provided for them.  Taking off her shoes McKenna walked further into the dorm admiring the décor that was placed for them.  There was a bookshelf, a TV, some muggle board games in a cupboard, two couches facing a coffee table around the TV.  The spiral staircase had iron handrails curling up around with a beautiful flower design.  McKenna turned around and looked at George who still stood in the entryway of the room.

"I guess we're soulmates then."  McKenna said.  George looked up at her and said nothing, just staring.  They stood there, looking at each other.  The air was not uncomfortable but it was tense.

"Look George, I know your brother is stable in his coma and you want him back.  You want him to wake up and he hasn't yet.  I know you miss him terribly.  Honestly I wouldn't know what to do with myself if that was Harry.  I also know that we've had a big day and that I'm exhausted.  I'm gonna have a look upstairs and see what the bedrooms are like, talk in the morning about all this yeah?"  George looked down and didn't answer.  McKenna sighed and walked up the stairs running her hand along the rail.  Merlin, there's only one bedroom?  She looked in every room upstairs and in total there was another living room area, a bathroom, and one huge bedroom... with one bed.  McKenna walked into the room and found her belongings already put away in the wardrobe on one side of the room.  Grabbing some pajamas and her toiletries she went to leave the room for the other bathroom when an open door in the corner of the room caught her attention.  Walking in she found a light switch on the wall and flicked it on. Huh, never thought they would use electricity like muggles at Hogwarts.  She thought before looking around in surprise at the incredibly nice bathroom.  There was a jacuzzi tub in one corner and a toilet in the other.  In front of the sink was a tall mirror that reached the ceiling.  Closing the door and locking it McKenna changed and brushed her teeth before putting her hair into a bun.  She splashed her face with warm water before patting it dry with a towel and exiting the bathroom.

As she walked out she was met with the sight of the back of a shirtless George.  Quickly blushing she turned away, not wanting to stare.  Putting her clothes in the laundry hamper in the corner McKenna grabbed one of the pillows off the bed and a blanket.

"I'm gonna sleep on the couch, beds all yours for now...Goodnight George."  McKenna stated as she walked out of the room.  Now which couch is gonna be more comfy?  McKenna walked back down the stairs and stared at the two couches in the room.  Picking the one on the right she threw down the pillow before laying out the blanket.

"Dang it."  McKenna whispered as she realized when she laid down that she hadn't turned off the lights.  Getting back up she also noticed she left her wand in the bedroom.  She looked around the room and breathed a sigh of relief when she found the light switch, happy to know that she didn't need to get her wand and walk back in by George.  With a soft plunk the lights went out.  Feeling her way back to the couch McKenna laid down again, finding the couch to be more comfortable than she thought it was going to be.  Her body relaxed finally succumbing to her exhaustion.  Let's see how long we last tonight.  She thought as she drifted off, the room utterly silent except for McKenna's soft breathing.
