Dear Reader,
Considering recent events, the use of journals as a therapeutic tool has been further implemented than anticipated. When I first picked up this most interesting case, I found a rare honesty and exhilaration in the boy's words I'd never expected in all my time knowing him. The truth behind his "non-story" moved me, and I sought to make his life visible to those who need it most.
Hence why it has found its way into your hands. It proved an unusual read for me, with the leaps and bounds of young adulthood shown at such an unseen angle. Perhaps, through this boy's words, we'll understand the genuine struggles of adolescence in even the most ideal circumstances. We'll change the world for the better.
With Best Regards,
~Dr. Richard S. White
