After I shoved her into the wall she was quick to bring her knee into my stomach. It didn't hurt much with muscle to protect it, but it was enough to move me back a bit.

She swifter herself to have her back to the wall, instead of her stomach. I put more weight on her wrists, which she used, and in one swift motion, pulled her knees to her chest then use her feet to push me away. I stumbled back and leaned back, the two the right as she sent a kick my way. I used that opening to send punches to her back.

It turned into a back and forth motion on evading and blocking. She bent down throwing her leg undermine in a spinning motion, trying to trip me. I jumped up dodging it, sending a kick to the back of her head. After she fell down she quickly thrust her body back up sending more punches my way.

We went at this pace for a while. Ag some point I just stopped thinking, it just felt so second natured.. so home.
My muscles loved the movement, and in an odd way, things felt normal.
Which only made my heart long for Anakin, Rex, and Obi-won more.

'Focus'

I didn't want to use the knife yet afraid of the mess it would leave.

When I went in for a punch, she used my trick early and grabbed my arm. While she had a grip on my arm I used it to my advantage. I threw my weight to the wall climbing a few steps to get higher than her, with her grip on my arm keeping me somewhat anchored.

As soon had I was high enough I jumped off the wall and wrapped my legs around her neck, using my weight to bring her down and keeping her in a chokehold.

As soon as we hit the ground her Lekkus disappeared. I'm confused I looked down, to see a bald green face with pissed off yellow eyes.

"Ha, so you're a shapeshifter. Should have known you were a bug." I laughed squeezing her neck tighter with my legs.

She frantically pulled her hands at my legs trying to lose the hold.

She looked up and me as her bald brows squeezed together in rage.

"Nighty, night bitch." I said watching her eyelids slowly close from the lack of oxygen.

She went out like a young child when they watch movies.

Slowly unraveling my legs from her neck, I got up in a swift motion.

I looked up in paranoia to make sure no one saw us, only to be met with empty hallways that hid all the secrets they've witnessed in their breaks.

Satisfied I bent down grabbing her bug-like arm and dragged her towards one of the supply closets I remember using.

Once I got it opened I threw it in like a rag doll, I checked her pockets taking out her commn keycard so she wouldn't be able to leave the closet.

I put those and her knife behind my bra since I didn't have pockets.

After looking down at her hunched over the supplies, I gave a satisfied smile and locked her in.

I would come back to get her when I had a guard put a tracker in us both so she would be stuck.

"This is going to make things complicated," I said with an annoyed sigh.

Looking forward I continued my search for Lux's room to see what intel he said he had from the note.

I walked alone my head racing at what just went down.  My quiet footsteps still managed to echo in the big hallways. I quickly pulled my thoughts together, to focus once I got to Lux's quarters.

I knocked once on his door. Then I heard a muffled voice from the door.

"Who's there?" He asked in the other room.

"Room service bitch."  I said with a small laugh and a smirk on my face.

The door slide open with a quiet sound of gears moving.

He had his hand against the wall leaning his body weight on it.

He raised his brows with a small smile, "now is that any way for a Jedi to talk." He mocked with a small laugh.

Still mad from his behavior for the party I rolled my eyes, not giving him the satisfaction of an answer.

"Tell me what you got Senator," I demanded monotoned.

I leaned my shoulder against the door with my arms crossed. He scoffed at my bluntness but then losing a playfulness he once had.

"Follow me." He grabbed my hand and walked me out of the room.

I ignored the shiver sent down my back, from the contact.

We walked in silence with nothing, but the sounds of our steps.

After turning down a hallway, to a hallway, he stopped at what seemed like a normal hall with no windows.

At this point, we were at the very end of the building.

But something felt off...

Something felt strong...

Something felt wrong...

It was dark.

He let go of my hand, and I ignored the voice in the back of my head that was sad about it.

Then he grazed his hand along the wall, then stopped at a certain spot in the wall. Then he placed his keycard against the wall.

Then the floor let out a low grumbling noise.

The wall shifted forward and moved slowly to the side, to show a new wall of glass.

I looked down to an area with flashing red lights and movement.

"its-,"

"an arm of stolen children." Lux finished before I could.

I couldn't believe it.

What other secrets do these hallways hold.
