'CONVERSATIONS'
Ellie stood near the tent, listening in of what the knights were informing Tywin, when suddenly, a familiar face came walking through. "Tyrion?" Ellie somewhat gasped, noting her brother's abrupt return, as he took his place at the table. He looked up, with a smile and then to their father. Tyrion has clearly escaped the grasps of Catelyn Stark, and this was good for them. She was beginning to worry, since her father seemed not to. And they had already been in camp for nearly a fortnight.
"Do continue, father. Didn't mean to interrupt." Tyrion told him, as the men continued on with their talk. As they dismissed nearly everything Tyrion had said, he grew quite frustrated, setting his cup back on the table. "Appears I am not hungry after all." He acknowledged, growing irritated, before storming off.
"Tyrion, wait," Ellie began, following after him to his tent. "Are you alright, brother?" She asked, curiously.
"I'm fine. I see father hasn't been too concerned of my whereabouts." He scoffed.
"Are you surprised?" She commented back.
"I will say, I am surprised to see you here." He told her. "Jaime put in a good word, I take it?"
"You know he did." She smiled, happy to be there, as they entered into the tent, where Bronn and one of the ladies of the night stood.
"Where did you find one so pretty at this hour?" Tyrion asked, now more concerned with the half naked woman in front of them.
"I took her." Bronn told him, eyeing Ellie, curiously. "From uh, what's his name? Ser— I dont know, ginger cunt three tents down." Bronn shrugged, causing Ellie to laugh a little.
"Ser Giddeon?" Ellie asked, as she had memorized as many lords, knights and guards as she could.
"Well, the odds of me living long enough for him to retaliate has dropped drastically. We'll be at Vanguard tomorrow." Tyrion took a drink of wine from the cup on the table Bronn had been seated on. Ellie reached forward, pouring herself a glass as well, as the two men now eyed her, once more.
"You want a show, dear sister?" He asked her.
"I'm bored." She shrugged, not really wanting to see what he was planning to do with the whore before them, but not knowing where else to go.
"Battle not enticing enough for you?" Tyrion joked, as she smiled subtly.
"What battle? We've been doing nothing but sitting on our asses." She commented, taking a quick swig of the wine.
"Well, I think we should take a walk?" Bronn questioned, looking toward Ellie as she rolled her eyes, following him out of the tent, still holding her cup.
"Where'd my brother pick you up?" She asked him, as he smirked.
"May have fought for his freedom from Catelyn Stark and Lysa Arryn." He told her, somewhat proud of himself, but also dismissing the fact that he did just that.
"And why would you do that?" She questioned.
"I was bored." He told her, mocking her quote from just a few minutes ago, as she smiled to him, finding the man humorous.
After a few hours of drinking and chatting with random knights and women, Bronn and Ellie returned to Tyrion's tent where they sat in a small circle with Shae and Tyrion, playing a simple drinking game. "Your father beat you." Tyrion said to Bronn, guessing his past. Bronn took a drink. "You killed your first man before you were 12." He guessed again.
"It was a woman." Bronn informed him, while Tyrion took a drink in defeat.
"What could a woman have done to you that pissed you off so bad? Stole your wooden sword?" Ellie laughed.
"She swung an axe at me!" Bronn protested.
"And I wonder what made her do that?" Ellie joked, again.
"You like to think you're experienced, yet you probably couldn't comprehend the hardships of us common folk, within that pretty little head of yours." Bronn told her, as her smile faded, and she took a swig.
"Don't have to call me out like that." She rolled her eyes.
"But, you feel your life is almost too fulfilling and that's why you want to seek adventure. Because you're unhappy with having everything handed to you on a golden platter." He continued on as she took, yet, another drink.
"Alright, I get it. Ask Shae something now." She rolled her eyes, with a smirk.
"I don't want to play." She said, uncomfortably.
"But it's fun! Look at the fun we're having." Tyrion insisted.
"If they say anything too deep, I'll cut their fingers off." Ellie whispered to the girl, who she began to think fondly of.
"Your mother was a whore." Tyrion interjected, confidently.
"Drink." Shae responded, as the men looked to one another, surprised, and then Tyrion took another drink.
"Alright, your father left your family when you were very young, never to return." He said, so sure of himself this time.
"Drink." Shae said once again.
"You wanted a different life. You came from somewhere and wanted to be elsewhere." He tried his hardest to pinpoint the now, mysterious girls past.
"Wow, way to now call us all out." Ellie rolled her eyes at his vague but very nail on the head, question.
"Well, the silent sisters wouldn't be for you, so whats a lowborn girl to do?" Tyrion said more specifically. Shae lifted the cup to her mouth before looking at him once again.
"Drink." She stated. "And don't talk about my mother or father ever or I will carve your eyes from your head." She sat herself up.
"I'll help, too." Ellie laughed, leaning back onto her elbows.
"Who were you in love with?" Shae now asked, not caring how the game worked.
"Our lord here used to be married." Bronn informed them.
"Did my sister tell you that?" Tyrion questioned, looking to Ellie, slightly displeased, as she lifted her hands, innocently with a shake of her head. "Another night, perhaps. It's not a pleasant story." He began to sound sad, and Ellie felt sorry, for she knew the majority of the story, mostly from her handmaidens and the castle gossips.
"I'm guessing the lady and I have more unpleasant stories." Bronn said, eager to know his story. Ellie eyed them, and then looked back to her brother, feeling more pity, as he did truly love his previous wife, even if it had been a sham. And as Tyrion began to tell his story of meeting his wife, Tysha, and how their marriage ended all due to the fact that Jaime had arranged a whore to sleep with him, and then their father Tywin, had all his guards fuck her for silver, making Tyrion watch, Ellie felt unnerved. That last part, Ellie had no idea of. She only knew that Jaime had arranged this ordeal, to help his brother feel the simple pleasures of a woman.
"I never knew that last bit." Ellie sighed, feeling disgusted with her father's actions.
"How could you? That was something not many knew. And that's our father for you." He gave a sad smile.
"You deserved better, Tyrion." She told him. He gave her one more smile, before they took another drink each.
