"Den, Tomas naman tayo! Namimiss ko na lumabas. Tsaka icelebrate naman natin yung success ng defense mo kanina!"

"Ate Dzi, pass muna ako. Napagod ako sa defense kanina eh. Kayo nalang, pwede?"

"Dennise, ngayon nalang ulit to! Sige na, please? You don't even have to be drunk. Mag ce-celebrate lang tayo!"

Dennise thought for a moment.

She sighed in defeat.

"Fine. Miss ko na din kayo eh."

"Yun oh, tara na!" Dzi clapped excitedly.

"Gagita ka Ate Dzi, 5 pm palang!" She laughed at her friend.

"Ano ka ba, mag da-drive pa. Mata-traffic pa tayo. Tsaka para makarami. Hehehe."

Den rolled her eyes then laughed.

"Dun ka nalang magpark, sa tabi nung black."

And Dzi did just that. They went to this bar slash restaurant para 'di masyadong maingay yet 'di rin boring.

"Woohoo! Congrats to Denniseeee!"

"Aray, ate Dzi. Ang ingay mo please!"

"Whatever, Den. Tara na! Synj and the gang are waiting."

Habang naglalakad ang dalawa, may nabunggong babae si Dzi.

"Oh, I'm so- Tash?" Dzi recognized the girl.

"Dzi! Omg, what are you doing here?" Tasha hugged the girl and gave a quick beso.

"Oh, I'm here for grocery shopping. Nah, I'm just kidding. I am here to celebrate Dennise's success on her defense."

She pointed Dennise who was standing awkwardly beside here.

"Oh my god, how rude of me. Tash, this is Dennise my bestfriend. Dennise, this is Tash, a batchmate of mine and former orgmate."

The two exchanged smiles and besos.

"Are you guys alone or do you have friends with you? My company and I are here and I think we could, you know, hang out all together."

Dzi beamed at this. What? She's a socialite.

"I think that's an awesome idea. What do you think, Den?"

"Uhmm, sure." Den said, not bothering what's supposed to happen because of exhaustion.

"Great! I'll call my friends!"

The three approached a big table.

"Guys, this is Dzi and her friend Dennise. They will be joining us!"

"Hi Dzi, Dennise! I'm Gretchen. It's nice to see new faces. Did you bring some friends with you?"

Gretchen asked the two.

"Actually, yes. They are joining us. Is it okay?"

"Of course, of course! The more people, the better."

And then Synjin and their friends approached them.

"Mona, Synjin? What as small world!"

Dennise was still not talking, she was just looking everywhere. Not minding the people around her.

"What a small world, indeed!"
