Harry's POV
23 years oldBaker whistles loudly as we stare up at the massive private jet before us. "Can't fucking hide money, can you?"
"This plane is massive!" RJ yells while jumping and down like an excited little kid on Christmas.
I'm the only one not impressed by West's obvious display of money. Madden's birthday was yesterday and his family is throwing her some kind of party, to which they've invited us all too and offered to send their families private jet to cart us all to California.
Madden's parents, me, Baker, RJ, my parents and Baker's are all coming on this trip. RJ's mom wasn't able to get off work to come with us, so they're staying home and keeping August for me so I can enjoy the party to it's full extent. Edges parents obviously declined, the two of them still having a hard time coping and managing with him not being here.
I was tempted to decline and not come, but I didn't want to miss out on the chance of seeing Madden again and the place she has called home for the last 4 years now. The curiosity was too strong to ignore.
And I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see this side of West too. I'd done my fair share of research on the asshole and saw what kind of money his family came from and still made. Not that it mattered, but it was just not the type of lifestyle I knew Madden wanted.
She loved the simple things in life. A small house on the beach, in our small beach town with friends and family all right down the road. She didn't give a shit about lavish parties and lifestyles.
"Well let's get going, it's time to board." RJ says, and we all file onto the plan and find a seat.
An attendant brings around drinks and food, and I make sure to order all I can because I know they'll be footing the bill for this.
"And Madden has no idea any of us are coming?" Baker asks her mom and dad, who are sitting directly across the aisle from us and with my parents.
"Nope." Mrs. Crowne says. "I've only spoke with Westley but he made sure to remind me not to mention anything to her about us coming. They all want it to be a major surprise for her."
"Well that's awfully nice of them!" My moms says, and then she and Madden's mom go off on a tangent about how romantic of a gesture this is by West and his family.
Like they're some kind of fairy tale couple or some bullshit.
It's enough to make me keep ordering vodka sodas and drowning out anything that mentions West from my mind.

When our plane lands, we're all immediately picked up by chauffeurs who were sent for us and are taking us to the hotel rooms that they have paid for for this weekend as well.
I feel like Kevin McAllister when I walk into this hotel and look around at the vastness of it, in what can only be described as pure awe.
"Remind me to talk with West and see if he can get me a job because holy-fucking-shit!"
"Baker! Watch your mouth." His mom scolds at his use of language in such a fancy place.
