Jasper and Clarke trailed off in the lead.

They were both quiet, which was unusual.

Jasper's meds were still stabilizing.

And Clarke was overthinking about Bellamy.

"So." Jasper started.

Clarke bit her tongue.

"I'm not gonna be able to see for Bellamy for two weeks." Clarke mumbled.

"Clarke, slow down there's a cross walk ahead." Jasper warned.

"Huh?" Clarke asked, not hearing him.

She didn't slow down, skating right into the cross walk.

A car's horn blared loudly.

Murphy quickly looked up.

He drug his foot on the sidewalk, slowing down.

"Clarke!!" Jasper yelled.

Murphy couldn't see what had happened just yet.

Jasper and Clarke were quite ahead of them.

"Oh Jesus!" Murphy heard an unfamiliar voice yell.

He hopped off his skateboard.

"What happened?!" Monty asked.

"I don't know." Murphy said back.

The pair finally caught up.

There was a car, pulled over.

Substantial damage, to the wind shield and front.

"Clarke?" Murphy asked, looking around for her.

Jasper quickly turned around, a scared and sympathetic look on his face.

Then he saw her.

She laid unconscious on the road.

There was blood around her.

Not a lot, but it was still visible.

Murphy's vision blurred.

His ears ringing loudly.

He swiftly walked over to her.

"Clarke..?" He asked.

Murphy could barely hear Monty talking to the 911 operator.

"I'm sorry, I didn't see her." The man said.

Murphy ignored him.

His thoughts filled quickly.

You should've protected her!

What the hell are you good for without her?

You promised yourself!!

The sound of sirens blaring pulling him back into reality.

"Hello sir. What happened?" An EMT asked.

"We were skateboarding, and she- she didn't stop at the crosswalk and she got hit." Murphy stumbled across his words.

"Who are you to her?"

"Brother.. I'm her brother."

"Okay, get in the ambulance. We need to get her to the hospital quickly."
