Chloe's comments wouldn't  leave my head.  It would have been simple, telling Colson, as soon as I found him, about the vile rumors she was trying to spread but I didn't.  I wanted to be able to handle it.  No one really let me take on situations anymore.

It was the perfect opportunity, we were alone together in his dressing room for the time being, rolling up a blunt.  The first band just ended and the venue crew was setting up for the next, Wandering South they were called.  I briefly met them before the show started, along with The Social Casualties. They were nice, polite even though they didn't focus on much except hyping themselves up to play on stage, which I couldn't blame them for.

They dressing room was really nice. All four from Colson's band had their own while the other two bands each got one. There was a black leather couch, a mirror, some food and drinks on a table. That much was true from what movies usually showed, except I don't think my cousin was famous enough for people to care about preferences yet, when it came to the contents on the table. There was a lot of different candy, we both hated sweets. At least there was a bottle of fireball, a few shots had already been taken by us.

The blunt was rolled and sparked, each of us taking two hit before Colson spoke. "So how was the first day?"

"It was interesting."

"How so?"

"Just a lot of different personalities, some of which seem to be used to being the center of attention."

The door opened as soon as I finished my sentence, Rook was the first to poke his head through, his eyes looking at me, then Colson before landing on the weed. Without asking he fully entered, Dom right behind him, a cheeky smile falling upon his face, a habit he had whenever he caught my gaze.

"My, my Kitty, don't you clean up nice. We should really have you on stage with us."

Rook held out his hand for the blunt and i greedily took another hit before handing it to him. "Seeing how many girls are out there hoping you'll fuck them tonight, I wouldn't say I'm needed."

The red haired boy plopped down next to me and pulled me so my head was resting on his chest. "Who said it was for them? Over an hour of playing and I can't even get a glimpse of those legs? No fair."

"I swear to god, keep it up and you won't be able to see at all," Colson warned but he friend just laughed. It was all in a friendly, teasing matter but both sides had a little truth to it. Too bad that conversation couldn't take his mind off of what I just said to him. "Is someone giving you problems? Tell me who it is, I'll take care of it."

I patted the spot next to me so Rook knew he could sit, once he did I began running my fingers through his hair. "Even if there was, I'm not going to snitch on them. I'm a big girl."

He rolled his eyes, "so why say anything as if I'm not going to tell them to all fuck off tomorrow."

The door opened again as I was about to reply this time. It was Pete, which wasn't surprising. Quietly he walked in and sat on the floor, those lanky legs were pulled into his chest.

Even though it was basically his girlfriend I was referring to I still needed to calm Colson down. "No one came at me, I swear. It'd be hard for any roadie to see some random person getting special treatment. Please just trust me okay?"

"Someone doesn't like Kitty?" Pete asked, lighting his own blunt and hitting it, but not passing it.

"I can see it, look at how beautiful she is," Dom interjected.

While everyone was just trying to be nice, or concerned, everything they were saying was only pissing me off.  As if I needed woman being angry with me because they were jealous.  After all I still had a boyfriend and even if I didn't I would never be the girl to go after someone's man.  No matter what I said when I felt cornered.
