Flora's POV
After my relaxing bath, my head was laying against Raven's lap in our bedroom as she was playing with my damp hair. "Do you ever plan of cutting your hair?" she asked me. Okay creepy Flora, you can answer this honestly.
"Yes, but I don't want to cut it yet." I replied, watching my mate nod at me. "Well, when you want to cut it, you can always ask me. I am quite experienced with hair dressing." she told me before she leaned down to kiss my forehead, causing a funny feeling to enter my stomach. Then, we both heard a knock on the door.
"Can't you see that we are having some privacy together!" Raven yelled at the person behind the door. "Polly, leave them alone darling." I heard Patricia tell Polly. "Flora, if you can hear me, I miss you. We can escape this horrible prison together...-" Shortly after, I heard a small scream and felt a small earthquake from the wall. I sat up, getting ready to rush towards the door. Yes! I was myself again. But, of course...Raven had to stop me.
"Stay right here. Let me check what happened." she ordered me before I let out a small growl. "Don't growl at me either." she ordered me again, then she moved off the bed and walked towards the door and opened it to reveal Polly being pinned against the wall by Patricia. I couldn't see much because Patricia was facing her mate. "Don't you DARE, call this a fucking prison! You are free here with me, do you understand that?" she snarled at her. "Let go of me, you monster! You fucking brainwashed me into loving you!" Polly yelled.
"BOTH OF YOU, CALM DOWN. THAT IS AN ORDER!" Raven raised her voice at them, my ears started to ring from how loud she was. Then, Raven turned her head to look at me for a split second before the door closed on its own.
"Patricia, you must compel her."
"Compel me?! Fuck off! Let me see my only best friend! FLORA!!"
Then, there was pure silence after that freak out moment, causing me to wonder what had happened. It took me a short while to actually get up and start moving towards the door, my hand reaching towards the door knob until I hesitated to even open it. One...two...three...
I then opened the door quickly, only to watch Patricia kissing Polly with slow passion. Polly's eyes wondered over to me, before her eyes landed back on Patricia.
"I think it's best to leave them alone for a little bit, Flora." Raven told me, before she walked back into the room.
"But...what just happened?" I asked, stepping away from the door to let her close the door. "Polly snapped out of the long compulsion, that's what happened." she replied softly, taking my hand and began to lead me back towards the bed to continue our chat.
"Now, where were we? Oh yes, how do you feel about the blood moon coming up soon?"
