Raven's POV
I smiled at Polly as she was talking to me about my mate, I wanted to know everything about her so that I don't mess anything up. So far, I have learned that she was indeed an artist and owned her own studio which I knew about already...
"What about her parents? Siblings?" I asked her, "Her parents died when she was young and she doesn't have any siblings. Her grandmother took care of her for a short while until she died too from old age." she replied until my bedroom door opened, revealing Raye. Raye was one of the older maids in my mansion and I wonder why on earth she was doing here in a middle of my conversation with Polly.
"I'm very sorry to interrupt you both, but I was minding my own business until I heard a phone ring..."
"A phone?" I asked, before I stood up and walked over to her. I watched her place her hand into her dress pocket, then she took out the phone that she was talking about. "Oh, that's mine, your majesty. Flora must be worried about me." I heard Polly tell me, which made me grab the phone from Faye to...inspect it further. Flora's number was on there and that was one step closer to getting her. "Thank you, Faye. You may have the rest of the day off as an award for bringing this to me." I told Faye, which made her face bright up as she squealed with delight.
"Can I have it please?" Polly then asked me, making me tut at her. "Remember the rule." I replied in a cold, deep ordering tone. "Sorry, your majesty." she apologised, "May I be excused?"
"Yes. Yes you may." I told her before I watched her quickly get up from the bed and ran out of the room. I had the phone in my right hand, staring at it before it started to ring again. I tilted my head to the side, realising that it was Flora.
I then had a choice to make.
