As soon as Raven mentioned the blood moon, my promise was going to break as I was not ready to be with her forever as in being turned by her into a blood sucking creature who feeds on innocent humans. I also remember her words when I tried to block out her hypnotism. Those scary purple eyes sends shivers down my spine.
"Hm. I see that you are thinking very hard about it. You are mentally preparing yourself, aren't you?" she asked me, making me let out a small sigh before saying, "Yes."
My stomach then growled, letting my brain know that I was hungry. "Since you are my lover, I will get your late lunch. I won't be too long at all. Stay right here." she told me before I watched her walk towards the door and opened it, leaving the room before the door closed again on its own. I didn't see Polly and Patricia so they must be somewhere else. Like their bedroom for example...
About five minutes later, Raven returned with a plate of sandwiches for me to nibble on. "Do you know when the blood moon is? Like how many days..."
"Tomorrow. And it is going to be a much longer one too which is very infrequent. Very rare." she replied, cutting me off from going on about it. I gulped a bit at that. "Why is it longer?" I asked her as I was grabbing the plate from Raven. "Nobody knows, unfortunately." she told me before I took a bite out of the sandwich. I watched her sit down next to me, before she wrapped an arm around me while I ate. "Are you going to keep that promise? Being with me forever?" she asked me in a hopeful tone. She just had to ask that...
After I finished one sandwich and three more left to go, I replied. "I'll try to keep it."
"You'll try?" she asked back, in clear disbelief. "I am mentally preparing myself, Raven." I told her before she shook her head. I then watched her pull away and stood up from the bed to go somewhere. "I will be back. I need to think about what to do with you tomorrow." she told me, then she vanished into thin air.
Should I be afraid?
Yes. Yes I should be. Oh great...just great...
