Demi
I sadly had to take the bus today. I always hated it. That's where I would always get bullied.
I got off the bus as quickly as I could. I walked inside and to my locker. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw that stupid limo pull up to the school. I rolled my eyes and continued getting my books.
I met Selena and Miley in first class. I really like them. They don't dress dark, but they don't where girly clothes. They're also pretty smart, and they enjoy music too. I think we'll be good friends. Which I would be thankful for. I need good friends.
I sat down next to Selena, Miley was on her other side. We were in the last row, all the way in the back. I didn't mind.
I already knew what we were supposed to be learning. The person teaching was a student teacher. He was kind of weird. I started thinking of a song. I was happy with what I was writing, but it was a sad, and personal song. It's about my abusive father who abandoned us. He's trying to come back to us because he's sick, but I don't know if I could ever let him back in.
The student teacher came to me and looked down at my paper. I quickly covered it up, "What are you writing?" He asked.
"That's none of your business." I answered.
"I asked you what you were writing." He demanded.
"And I said, it's none of your business. It's personal." I raised my voice slightly.
"Don't talk back to me." He snapped. I rolled my eyes, "That's it. Detention." He said, getting angry.
"For what?" I retorted.
"For talking back to the teacher." He answered.
"Yeah, that's how conversations work." I replied, earning some laughs around the room, "Oh, and by the way, you don't have the proper authority to give me a detention. Thanks anyway."
He glared at me and continued teaching.
My next few classes were easy. I pretty much ignored Joe the whole time during English. Don't get me wrong, he seems nice and all. But after what happened last time between me and a boy, I can't take that risk again. I just don't want to be heart broken again.
I sat down next to Miley and Selena, "The whole school is talking about what you said earlier today." Selena nudged me.
I shrugged, "Someone had to do it." I drank my water and continued eating.
Someone bumped into me and spilt something on my new leather jacket, "Oh, I'm so not sorry." Taylor smiled down at me.
I got up and wiped the milk off the leather. I rolled my eyes, "Wow, Taylor, you spilt milk on my jacket. Big deal." I finished cleaning my jacket with some wet paper towels.
Taylor looked me up and down like she did yesterday, "You look like you got your clothes from a homeless person." She smiled.
"Oh, hey, remember when I asked for your opinion?" I paused for a second, "Yeah, me neither."
She stomped her foot and walked back to her table. I sat back down and rolled my eyes, "Wow, it's like you have a comeback for everything!" Selena complimented.
"Thanks."
I rushed to switch my books out and went to music class. I got in just before the late bell.
"Good afternoon, class. You will break off into your groups and start writing your songs. Today will be your only day to work together in school. After today, you have until Monday to finish the song. You will then have to work together on your own time." The teacher explained.
