*Snapchat: from Nick*

"Rian did you hear me?" Bailey asked.

"What, yeah. Of course I did," I lied obviously, but Bailey knows me too well than to let that slide.

"Then what did I just say?"

"Um..." she caught me and she knows it. "I don't know."

"Right," she said with a smile. She knows me way too well. I guess that happens after living together for a year.

"I'm sorry it's just...he snapped me."

She widened her eyes, "Already? Wow he must really be interested in you."

I smiled to myself. I haven't really talked to many guys since I got to college. I mean the first couple months I went out with a few guys but those dates never really went anywhere, so I kind of gave up on dating. Especially with the majority of my classes being online and all I hardly ever left my dorm. I mean, the only reason I'm even going to UTA is because my online schooling doesn't have some of the classes I need to graduate. Even before I was in college I never really dated in high school, not that I didn't want to, I just couldn't ever find the right person.

"Shut up, he's probably just being polite," I said. Even though I was denying it, my cheeks were dusted and obvious shade of pink.

"Oh come on, did you see the way he was looking at you? Y'all are bound to fall in love."

"Oh gosh. I swear, you're literally insane."

After what felt like an eternity, we finally got our food. I made a mental note about how good it was. Maybe I'll try to get up earlier every once and a while from now on. This breakfast wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be...

While Bailey was paying I unlocked my phone to open Nick's snap.

"Hi :)"

He sent a selfie of him smiling with a peace sign. He was so adorable...or whatever.

I copied his pose and typed a response.

"Hi ! Sorry it took so long for me to respond, I was just finishing up breakfast :)"

"Cute?" I showed Bailey and she approved so I sent it.

By the time I snapped Nick back, our food was boxed up and paid for. Bailey had a class and so we went our separate ways, her to her class, and me to our dorm. I walked up the stairs, into the busy hallway, and into my room, back into the sanctuary of the dorm. My safe place, my bed.

I walked into my room and closed the door. The daylight was still coming in through my windows from Baileys successful attempt to get me out of bed. I immediately shut the blinds and my room returned to it's natural darkened state it's always in. I was already in sweats from the coffee shop, so I just took off my shoes and hopped right into bed.

I curled myself into a ball and wrapped up with the 4 big blankets I had on my bed. I was about to open TikTok, until I got a notification.

*Ding*

I checked my phone.

"Snapchat: from Nick"

I opened it within seconds. Kind of desperate, but I really don't give a shit. He was in his bed too and was smiling with the sides of his face covered with a blanket he had wrapped himself in.

"That's alright, gave me time to nap :))"

I quickly took a selfie in the exact same way he had in his photo and said

"Hey look, we're twins lol"

Sent.

*Ding*

Wow, that was fast.

"No, you're just copying me :)"

I replied with, "No, we just have the same brain lol"

This went on for the next hour just making small talk and getting to know one another, until Nick said he had to go. He didn't say why, but said he would snap me as soon as he could. I put down my phone and was going to take a quick cat nap until I felt a buzz radiate through the sheets.

*Ding*

"I thought he had to go..." I thought as I reluctantly picked up my phone.

"Sapnap is LIVE!"

For a minute I forgot that he was Sapnap, the twitch streamer with 2 million subs on YouTube, and not just some guy who asked for my snap during my breakfast outing this morning. I clicked on the notification and started watching the stream.

"Finally...He's here guys," Dream told the other boys, "Sapnap what took you so long?"

George chimed in saying, "Yeah, why are you so late today? I was about to kill your dog."

"Oh, I was talking to someone, sorry."

"Wait is he talking about me?" I thought, "No he couldn't be. I mean why would he be talking about me?" I brushed off the thought and returned to watching the stream.

"Oh okay. Who?" Dream asked him. Sapnap stayed quiet.

"Was it a giirrrlll?" BadBoyHalo asked.

"Don't worry about it guys," he snapped, "anyways, George how dare you threaten to kill my dog. You know I'm the infamous pet killer, don't test me."

They all dropped it and continued playing the game. I shut off my phone and sat in my darkened room. "Did he really just mention me on stream? Live?" I said to myself. "There's no way..."

A couple hours later I was still in bed, doing school work and actually being very productive for once. I even turned down watching a movie with Bailey. I had been snapping Nick for a bit after he got off the stream. He even encouraged me to do my work, which may or may not have been the reason I decided to get it done.

*Ding*

*Ding*

"Who is blowing up my phone like this? It can't be Nick can it?" I thought. I picked up my phone up off my bed and saw the notifications and almost passed out.

"Snapchat: you have been added to a groupchat"

"Snapchat: BadBoyHalo added you as a friend"

"Snapchat: GeorgeNotFound added you as a friend"

I sat in absolute disbelief of what just happened. The dream team just added me on Snapchat.

*Ding*

I'm freaking out, almost as much as I was this morning.

I looked at the final message on my phone.

"Dream added you as a friend"
