The three men and the snowgirl were almost where Martyn and Adrian were trying to take them. "Wow! The sky is awake!" Samantha exclaimed, gazing at the sky. Dan knew that sounded familiar but was too cold to care. "Cold?" Martyn asked. "Obviously." Dan snapped. "Sorry." Martyn apologised. There was an awkward silence. "So listen. About our friends-Well, we keep saying friends, they're more like family. Anyway, when we were kids, it was just me and Adrian. Until these guys, well, they kinda took us in." Martyn explained. "Really?" Dan asked. "Yeah. Look, I don't wanna scare, but they can be a little inappropriate. And loud. Very loud. They're also stubborn at times and a little overbearing. And heavy. Like really, REALLY heavy. But you know, you get-They-they mean well." Adrian rambled. "Guys. They sound great. You guys are lucky that you even still have family. I don't have that privilege." Dan said. Adrian and Martyn felt bad for Dan. He seems so alone. "Alright. Well...Meet our family!" Martyn announced, as he and Adrian walked into what appeared to be a valley of large rocks.

"Hey guys! You are a sight for sore eyes." Adrian greeted. "They're...rocks?" Dan asked. "They're crazy!" Samantha whispered slowly and loudly. Martyn and Adrian continued talking to the rocks, making Dan and Samantha concerned. "I'll distract them while you run! HI MARTYN AND MARTYN'S FAMILY! IT'S NICE TO MEET YOU! Because I love you Daniel, I insist you run! I UNDERSTAND YOU ARE GREAT HEALERS AND LOVE EXPERTS! WOW! Why aren't you running?!" Samantha questioned, going from whispering to yelling to whispering again as she spoke. "Ummm, ok. I'm gonna go now." Dan said awkwardly, trying to walk away. "No Dan, wait!" Adrian called out. The rocks started tumbling towards Adrian and Martyn. "Guys!" Dan exclaimed nervously, not understanding what was going on. As the rocks reached Martyn and Adrian, they revealed themselves as trolls. "Our boys are home!" one of them exclaimed. "Martyn and Adrian are home!" everyone cried out happily. "Martyn and Adrian are home! Wait. Adrian?" Samantha questioned. "Look, it's great to see you all, but where's Grandpabbie?" Adrian asked. "He's napping. But look! I grew a mushroom!" one of the little troll exclaimed. "I earned my fire crystal." a little troll said proudly. "Martyn! Pick me up!" a young troll exclaimed, leaping into Martyn's arms. "Whoa! You're getting big. Good for you!" Martyn praised. As he and Adrian laughed and played with the troll children, Dan exclaimed "Trolls. They're trolls!"

The trolls all stared at him. "They've brought a friend!" one of the trolls exclaimed. "A new friend!" the trolls cried out. They all rushed Dan over to the very troll who took in Adrian and Martyn. "Why, it's Prince Daniel. Lovely to see you again, dear. You've grown so much!" she said. "I'm sorry, have we met?" Dan asked. "Well, not exactly. But your family brought you here when you were little to heal you." the lady troll explained. Dan was semi-puzzled. Some things were starting to make sense, but some parts were still confusing. Before he could give it any more thought, his chest felt ten times more cold. "AH!" he cried, clutching his chest and shivering. "Dan!" Adrian yelled, him and Martyn rushing to him. "He's cold as ice." Adrian said, holding Dan. Grandpabbie heard Dan and rolled to him and the other two boys. "There's strange magic here. Bring him to me." he said softly. Martyn and Adrian gently pushed Dan towards Grandpabbie. "Daniel. Your life is in grave danger. There's ice in your heart put there by your friend, Phillip. If not removed, to solid ice will you freeze forever." Grandpabbie warned. "What? No!" Dan cried. He was terrified. "But you can remove it, right?" Martyn asked. "I cannot. I'm sorry. If it was his head, that would be easy. But only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart." Grandpabbie explained. "An act of true love?" Dan echoed. "A true love's kiss perhaps?" one of the trolls suggested. Immediately, Dan thought of Phil. He was certain that he loved Phil. And it seemed that Phil loved him back, but he was too afraid to be close to Dan. What is he going to do?

"Didn't that guy back in Arrendelle ask you to be his boyfriend?" Adrian asked. Dan knew he didn't love James, but maybe James loved him and that would be enough? "It's worth a shot." he said. Dan groaned and more of his hair turned white. "You'll need to hurry. Arrendelle is a long walk from here." Grandpabbie said. "Who said they'd walking?" asked the motherly troll. She started singing in some sort of language Dan didn't recognize. "🎶Key dah bo wah ta. Voya, voya, voya! Key dah bo wah ta. Voya voya voya!🎶" it sounded like. Soon, Adrian and Martyn's sled came charging in, with a horse pulling it. "Thank you, Mother." Adrian said, helping Dan inside the sled. "Please be careful." the motherly troll advised. "Samantha, you coming?" Martyn asked, climbing into the sled. "I'm coming!" Samantha exclaimed, jumping into the sled as it raced off. "Let's go kiss James! Who's James?" Samantha questioned.
