The proposal

Chapter 6

Life is so unpredictable, at one moment it brings you so much joy you can hardly believe it but at the same time it brings you so much pain it may knocks you down cold on the floor if your not strong enough. Like I said I wasn't expecting any of this at all I wasn't prepared for this new challenge, I wasn't ready to take on such a road, this is the time I wanted my best friend... This is the time I wanted her the most, this is the time I wanted her support really bad but unfortunately she's not strong enough to help me in this situation, this time around she isn't here to help me, she isn't here to help me, to give me advice when I wanted her advice so bad, but unfortunately I had to deal with this on my own now, I had to learn how to deal with this situation all alone, but how, where do I start how do I begin. I am so confused, I really am. I sighed before walking over to a chair close by sitting down while resting my head into my hands this is the type of headache I don't want on my plate right now but unfortunately its already been shared to my plate and there is nothing I can do about it.

" Miss. Montez." an voice called from somewhere nearby, I look up in time to see the same guard which dropped me here a moments ago standing before me, with a food basket in his hands hanging at his side.

" Um hey... What can I do for you. " I ask curious.

" I am sorry Miss. Montez sorry to disturb you, but the Prince sends this for you." He says stretching out the food basket which covered care fully with a small folded towel over it, quite presentable too, I know I should probably eat something especially since I am in this condition but I can't eat right now my tummy had already began stirring the moment I smell the strong smell of bacon coming from the food basket, I know it will turn against me if I had it, so its best I avoided it.

" Its fine, but I am sorry... " I pause suggesting he told me his name silently, he pick up quickly because he quickly replied;

" Ryan McCarthy. "

" I am sorry Ryan but I can't take that meal."

" But Miss. Its a-" I interrupted him before he could finish.

" I understand, I will talk to him just please return it." I told him kindly, he seems as if he was bout to insist but he later decided against it then he walk away, I sighed in relief that the aroma has left my nose, the further it went the  better my tummy will behave.
    
                               
Couple moments later Chelsey parents finally arrived at the hospital finally after hours of driving from Kentucky to here, when they just got here I could see the exhausting and the worry on there faces I could see how much the health of there daughter was affecting them, and I understand I know any parents would be in a terrible state after knowing that there only child is in the hospital laying down unconscious on a hospital bed, I know how hard it must have been for them I can see it, it shows on them. Mr. And Mrs. Porter are the sweetest parents I know they are really good people both to me and my aunt  they were the best thing that ever happen to Chelsey and I know how much they love her, I know them as much as I how I know my best friend and trust me they are the sweetest set of people I know doe they are rich and have a lot of money but they treat me like there own child as if I we're there own, as if I we're Chelsey sister. I love these people and I am feeling really awful for putting there child life at risk like this. But I know she's going to be fine, I know that Chelsey is going to get better quite soon too and that is all that matters right now.

" Tanya dear thank you for being there for Chelsey, I appreciate it so much."

" No no aunt its on me, you don't had to thank me you no how much I adore Chelsey she means the world to me, I had to be here for her no matter what so trust me its nothing besides its my job as a best friend to take care of her. " I explained as we all sat outside waiting for a go ahead to go inside to see her again, since the doctors are busy checking up on her.
