Hello, I am not dead!
It has been almost a year and a half since I have updated this story and I'm super sorry about that. I have gone to college and all that jazz. Life is wild and fast and crazy and all you can really do is go along with it.
I am hoping to return to this story and I'm currently trying to figure out if I want to edit it then continue. As you all know the Mandalorian show has continued on and I started writing this when it first came out, hence me not me mentioning Grogu's name despite Alya being a Jedi because I, at the time did not know it.
I want to re-edit a bit, perhaps changing some of the back story, but I'm also tempted to continue on with the flaws I made while writing it and working it into the plot to create a bit of a difference from the show itself. Rereading the same story you just watched feels counter productive, but I'm not sure!
Let me know what you all think, but this is not the end of Alya's story. I promise.
Also I'll probably deleted this little chapter eventually because I don't like keeping chapters that are only author notes!
