Draco's POV:

Dear Diary,
It's almost time. 10 more minutes, only 10. The longest fucking 10 minutes of my life. 10 minutes till I get to see my Josephine. 9 minutes. 9 minutes till I get to hear her sweet voice. 8 minutes. 8 minutes till I get to see those honey hazel eyes. 7 minutes. 7 minutes till shit! My task. But Josephine, my Josephine is more important, the stupid assignment can wait. I have all year but only limited time with Josephine until I have to, no. I don't even want to think about it. 4 minutes.

I closed my diary and put it under my pillow. I started to head down to the library.

When I arrived she was already there, biting her lip while reading. She looked so innocent and beautiful.

I pulled a chair out next to her and she looked up with those big bright hazel eyes.

"Hey." She said. "Hey." I replied. We stared at each other until she spoke.

"The first nonverbal spell I've been trying to do is expelliarmus but, I just can't." She said. "We can practice outside if you want." I replied.

"Okay, where?" She asked while grabbing some books.

This was it, to feel her skin against mine. I grabbed her hand and held it in mine. Then my heart exploded.

She held my hand back.

I lead her to her favorite place, the black lake. "Okay, let's get started." I said. She let go of my hand and took out her wand. I grabbed my wand and held it in my hand, the one that was just holding onto her.

"Okay, focus on the spell, say it in your mind, still do the motion, it might help if you envision yourself doing if before you actually try." I told her. She nodded and closed her eyes, and started to think.

I watched her furrow her eyebrows without her even noticing she did. She looked beautiful when she was confused, well she looked beautiful all the time. My Josephine, only mine.

"Okay I'm ready to try." She said opening her eyes. I nodded and held my wand up.

She pointed her wand at mine and flicked it. Nothing happened. She tried again. Still nothing. Again. Nothing. Again. Nothing.

"How is this even possible! I can't do it." She yelled frustrated. "Yes you can, deeply concentrate." I replied. I held my wand up again.

She pointed her wand and flicked it. Nothing again. Again, still nothing.

She tried and failed each time, getting more frustrated. Part of me didn't want her to succeed so we could spend more time together, but I just wanted to see her happy, and if she succeeded, she would be happy, with me.

We were outside for almost 30 minutes. She took a deep breath and flicked her wand at me. My wand flew out of my hand and into hers. A big smile appeared on my face. Shortly after one appeared on her too. My Josephine, happy at last.

"Finally! Thank you!" She said smiling. My heart started to beat uncontrollably fast. "Of course, I knew you could do it." I replied smiling. "You know, you're not as bad as people say you are." She said still smiling slightly at me. "Oh, and who says I'm bad?" I laughed. "Well, everyone." She chuckled. The smile left my face.

Did she think I was bad? I'm not, well not all the time. I do everything for her. If only she knew.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude, I don't talk bad about you though, even if sometimes you are a bit mean to my friends, I don't know you the best so I don't think it's fair." She replied.

"It's fine." I said. I can change that, she will start to know me very soon, I can feel it.

"Maybe we can meet again?" She asked. My face lit up again. "Yeah okay, maybe tomorrow, same time?" I asked. "Okay, I'll see you then. Thank you again." She replied smiling. "Anytime, see you." I said.

She grabbed her stuff and I watched her walk back into the castle, like I do everyday but this time, with a smile on my face.

I started to head to the great hall to see her eat again, but then I remembered, my assignment. Shit. I ran to the room of requirements.

I worked for hours, nothing. No progress, no change. It was already passed curfew so I decided to head up to my dorm to sleep. But how could I sleep if my heart was still going a thousand miles an hour? My dreams were becoming a reality, her hand in mine. My Josephine. Soon to be all mine.
