Unexpected

Chapter 4.

As I scan the cafeteria a petite little black haired girl catches my eyes as she runs through the café. I grin at the little Junior. 

“What up Silver?” I ask as she dodges for the open seat next to me. 

Her green eyes sparkle as she looks up at me. “Have you seen the new kid?!” she exclaims. 

I chuckle. “I have and um he was new yesterday?” I smile as Silver’s smile drops. 

“Awe man! Do you know how many girls are probably all over him now? He’s a senior! Damn,” Silver mutters as she drops her head on the table, smacking her forehead. I wince and bring her head back up. 

“Yeah, um anyway.” 

Silver looks at me with a blank look on her face. “He’s hot, Cedes!” she whines. 

I roll my eyes. “And probably 95% of the girls in this school thinks he is as well,” I add as I look over the cafeteria, I smile when I find the boys in the line for food. 

“His name is Emery,” I look back at Silver. “he’s like 6 foot 3 or maybe even 4 because my brother is 6 feet and Emery’s like a couple inches taller than him. He’s got a gorgeous tan face, he has these cut deep dimples, and he has these grey, grey eyes with like specks of violet in them, and oh my god Cedes! He’s so gorgeous!” Silver explodes. 

I lift an eyebrow. “How the hell do you know his eye color?” I laugh. 

Silver sighs. “I ran into him in the hallway.” I roll my eyes and shake my head. 

“Ew Silver go away,” Noah bosses as he strolls over to our table. 

Silver throws a grape at her brother, or more my grape at Noah. “Oh shut up you know you love me.” Silver then sticks her tongue out at Noah. 

“I love you Silver!” Chance exclaims as he sits down next to her and lazily puts his arm around her chair. Silver glares at Chance. 

“Watch it, Markus. And get your hand off my chair,” Silver shoves his hand away from her and faces Cade. “you,” she mumbles. 

Cade pointes to himself. “Me?” I laugh. 

“You boob!” Silver exclaims as she throws a grape at him. I glare at Silver and shove my grapes closer to Ross whose sitting next to me. 

“Why am I the boob?!” Cade exclaims with wide eyes. 

“Because you fricken walked in on me last night while I was getting out of the shower!” Silver explains as she throws a French fry at Cade off of Chance’s plate. I slap a hand over my mouth as it muffles my laughter, Noah was in mid-chew as his mouth opened wide and all the food flies down into his lap. 

“You walked in while my sister was getting out of the shower?” Noah gawks at Cade. Cade puts his hands up in defense. 

“Listen Noah how the hell was I suppose to know she was in the shower? I had to take a major piss!” Cade argues. 

“I don’t know maybe from this thing called knocking!” Noah barks. 

Cade sighs and leans back in his chair. “Its not like I saw anything, chill dude.” 

Noah squints his eyes at Cade. “This is my little sister.” 

“I know, jeez next time I’ll knock.”

I roll my eyes at the two. “So Silver you coming to tonight’s Lacrosse game?” 

Silver shrugs. “Of course I am!” she chuckles. I grin.
