I groan and grab my sleeping bag and my backpack filled with my clothes. Noah leans against me and grabs his sleeping bag and bag out of his car.

“Remember I still have that minute,” he whispers in my ear and a shiver runs down my spine. He closes his door and walks over to the guys who were putting up their tents.

“So this is it?” I jump when Emery walks over to me.

Okay, things were a little awkward with us but we’re starting to move on from the kiss. I mean we cant forget about it, but we’re moving on. The rest of the week we small talked with each other so things were back to normal. A little. “Yep, there’s a river in the woods but its too cold to swim in, so yeah,” I tell him.

“I still don’t get why I have to share a tent with Matt!” Cade complains to Noah.

“So? Ross is sharing a tent with Emery, so shut up and deal with it,” Noah snaps.

“He’s moody.”

I look at Emery. “He’s a moody person but once you get to know him he really cares. He’s a sweetheart.” Emery shrugs.

“Where’s the bathroom?” Silver asks as she walks up to me.

“The woods?” I tell her.

Her eyes widen. “That’s why Noah bought four rolls of toilet paper for us two! Oh mY GOD NOAH!” Silver yells as she runs over to her older brother.

I shake my head. “Hey, go help Ross with the tent. Get on their good sides,” I say to Emery as I start walking over to Noah and Silver.

“Ask Cedes to go with you when you need to take a piss, then,” Noah bosses as he rolls his eyes and bends down to put the tent together.

“Ask Cedes,” Silver repeats in a deep voice then marches over to Chance.

“I give Chance props for dating my sister,” Noah whispers and I burst into laughter.

“Need help?” I ask when I drop my bag and sleeping bag on the floor. Noah shakes his head.

“So how bad did your cheer suck at tournaments?” Noah questions.

I groan. “It was awful, Noah. I swear… Such a great way to end cheerleading season.” Noah chuckles and finishes putting the tent up. “but at least you guys won the Tigers without me.”

“God was watching over us, Cedes.” I smile.

I scream when Cade picks me up and holds me over his shoulder.

“So shortie….” Cade starts as we walk over to his car.

“Oh God, what?” I wonder.

“Can I move in your house for a couple days after this camp trip?” Cade whispers as he puts me down and grabs his stuff from his car.

I crease my eyebrows. “What happened?” I ask, my heart pounding. Cade lifts up his shirt and I gasp. His left rib cage was bruised, the bruise had to be at least 4 inches wide and a foot long. “Cade….”

“I know, I know I should tell someone, but Cedes I don’t know if I can,” Cade mutters under his breath. I hug Cade and rest my head on his chest.

“Cade you know I love you no matter what you decision you make, right?”

“Thanks, Cedes.”

I let go of Cade and give him a smile. “So I heard about you and Brittany.” I wiggle my eyebrows and Cade kicks my butt.

“Just keep moving kid,” he chuckles. I laugh and grab the radio from him and put it on top of Noah’s truck and turn it up all the way, turning the station to Jam’n 94.5.
