Your mouth began to open—ready apologize profusely to the tear-struck bassist. But instead you felt a sudden warmth on top of your hand that was still resting on top of the railing. Ryo's hand began to fully wrap around yours as he used his other hand to wipe away the tiny tears that had gathered.

"Miss (y/n)," he started, "why is it that you seem to know me most of all? How can that be? I've only met you."

You stood there, wide-eyed and and confused. "Ryo?"

Your breath stopped short at that moment—hitching at the sight of his face, close to yours. His sharp features, as clear as ever under the moonlight. Hands, still grasping onto yours. The smell of grape, lingering in the air. A creeping red, flushing onto your cold cheeks. And the touch of his hands; foreign, yet, so familiar. "Maybe it's because we've met before?" he whispered, guiding one of your hands to touch his cheek. The tension in the air, growing quiet as a lovely tone of blue, cascaded on the two of you while a car zoomed past. Mouth, opening to speak, yet no words coming out.

His little tearful face was then replaced by a modest smile. Finally cupping both of his hands into yours as his body faced you fully. His tall stature, towering over your smaller one as he bent down.

"Miss (y/n), could it be that you're an alien as well? That could be the only explanation!" His indigo eyes sparkled with such wonder. Excitement, spiraling his thoughts. For a moment, you couldn't find the right words to say. But a trail of laughter spilled from your lips right after. A pure joy, radiating from your aura. But you didn't know why. There was a certain peacefulness whenever you were talking with this self-acclaimed alien. A sprout of relaxation seeping into you whenever his presence was near. Euphoria of some sort?

"Maybe I am," you giggle. "I come from a different galaxy, maybe that's why we haven't run into each other before coming to Earth."

Ryo's eyes sparkle once more. "Amazing, miss (y/n). I would have liked to meet you before then too. Maybe if we stayed in space a while longer, maybe we would have met that way." His innocence made you smile. A smile so contagious, it made him return one to you.

Looking closer now, you realize just how lovely Ryo looked in the night. Under the blanket of a million stars, he started to look like a renaissance painting himself. One so eye-opening and mesmerizing, that anyone bound to see it, would've already displayed it at a museum for everyone to see. But a little part of you wanted that beauty all to yourself. Only for your eyes to see, and no one else. Bit by bit, with each passing second, the more you looked at the bassist, the more you started to think how appealing he was. Ultimately, he was truly...

"...beautiful."

"Hm? What was that, miss (y/n)?"

"Ah..ah, n-nothing. Nothing at all," you smile. Gazing up at the stars once more in order to hide your persistent blush.

You look back one last time and see the alien boy waving back at you. Lollipop, still in hand. A smile, finding it's way to your lips as you watch him. Your hands instinctively pushed the hotel's entrance doors, but felt the need to close them. Your body, refusing to leave Ryo just yet. Seems as if you haven't had enough of the strange musician at all, despite spending the morning and night together.

"I'll see you again tomorrow, okay?" He called after you.

Those words sent a shivering joy to your spine. Even though you knew you were seeing each other again tomorrow, hearing that come from Ryo himself, was an extra cherry to a sundae.
