Albert started spending more time with the trio than he had expected. He volunteered to stay at Hogwarts for the Easter Holidays, so that he could spend more time with them. Draco was of course disgusted, as he thought that he was staying back yo stay at the library. From their time at the library, Hermione considered Albert as a friend, but Ron and Harry was still reluctant to be with a Slytherin. The exams were on their way, and Hermione was fussing over Ron and Harry to do their work, she never even had to fuss over Albert, it was good that she didn't or Harry and Ron would be in an impression that she was helping a Slytherin.
Albert was rarely found in the common room, the only ones who was there was Millicent Bulstrode and her cat. Albert hated cats. He had been given the job to get to know Professor Snape, as he was the Slytherin Head. One day, Snape walked up to the table, "Mr. Adkins, Professor Dumbledore has ordered you in his office," he had a rather curious face.
Professor Dumbledore's office had a griffin in the front, in which you spoke the password. Albert didn't know the password. "Albert! What are you doing here!" McGonagall's voice came from behind. "Oh, professor, I am here to see Professor Dumbledore, its just that I don't know the password. "Not to worry, Mr. Adkins, Licorice Wands," McGonagall said, and Albert entered in.
Dumbledore was sitting on an armchair and was reading a book. "Mr. Lestrange, please sit," he said. Albert was unsure. "No need to worry, no one hears us," He said smiling. Albert sat down. "I have called you here for some important matter," He said. "Professor Snape suspects the truth," he said. "You mean, he knows I am not Albert Adkins," Albert said. "Yes,"
"So," Albert said.
"You tell him the truth," Dumbledore said.
"Professor, there is something I want to tell you," Albert said. The exact same moment, Snape entered. "Headmaster, you wanted to see me?" Snape said, fixing his eyes on Albert.
"Yes Severus, why don't we walk?" Dumbledore said. Snape nodded and walked out.
The next few days, Albert spent time in the Library with Hermione Granger. Albert hadn't told her about his truth, however he was planning to do so. They were reading 'Alchemists of the Century' together. "Its amazing isn't it, magic," Hermione said. "Yes, I suppose so," Albert said. Just then Millicent Bulstrode walked into the library, Albert had to hide. Millicent shouldn't see him sitting next to Hermione, as she was muggle born. "I am sorry Hermione, Millicent Bulstrode is here, she can't see me next to you," Albert said quickly as he got up and went to hide. Just then Harry and Ron came in and took Albert's place.
Millicent was looking at some books on how to tame a cat, and when she noticed Albert she shouted, "Albert!" Albert was startled. "You can help me tame my cat!" She said.
"No, I don't want - I mean - I can't, sorry,"
Millicent looked sad. She sorrowfully went on browsing for a book. He gave an apologetical look to Hermione and went back to the common room.
