I left the Hogwarts grounds on the fourth weekend of school – the last Saturday of September. I disappeared after lunch taking a secret passage out of the castle into Hogsmeade and apparating to Grimmauld Place in London. I sent a Patronus under the door to circle the basement kitchen, and another up the stairs into Sirius's bedroom. A couple of minutes later I heard the sound of the locks being removed from the door.

Remus grinned at me; "Nice Patronus." He stepped aside to let me in.

"Hiya Remus."

"Aah, Sirius is a little under the weather." He said awkwardly.

"Yeah, I've heard. Where is he?" I asked quietly.

"In the kitchen." Remus headed to the stairs, past the portrait of Mrs Black.

I followed him down the stairs. "He's decent, though right?" I whispered.

Remus gave a hollow chuckle. "Well, he's clothed."

He reached the bottom of the stairs and walked over to the table and sat down next to a shabby unshaven man, slouching in his chair by the fire.

"Hey, why-aren't-you- wookinggg after my Godson?" Sirius slurred.

Remus smiled apologetically.

"He's got a whole team of Quidditch players, two with bats and bludgers, looking after him this afternoon. I assure you he's fine." I smiled. I sat down across from Remus and pulled out a small pouch from my pocket. I pulled out a wooden box of Wolfsbane potion. I took one of the pick-me-up viles before leaving the box on the table for Remus. I pulled another ingredient from my bag and added to the vile in my hand, it fizzed and turned a light shade of green.

I held the vile out to Sirius. He pressed his lips together and shook his head firmly. I sighed and pulled my wand. Sirius – his senses too slow at the moment - had only gripped the handle of his, as I waved mine and he froze in his current position, only his eyes were moving.

I waved my hand over his face and tipped the liquid into his mouth. I removed the binding spell and Sirius choked down the potion.

When he was done coughing, he glared at me for approximately five seconds until it kicked in. Then he looked ashamed.

"Hiya." I beamed.

He smiled bashfully.

"Okay, so you have twenty minutes to clean up," I said to Sirius. "and then both of you put these on," I waved my wand and male muggle clothing flew out of my bag and landed folded in front of both of them.

"And we're going out." I finished by folding my arms across my chest.

Sirius grinned.

"But..." Remus started to protest. "Sirius isn't even allowed out, after the whole Malfoy and Daily Prophet thing."

I smirked; "Put on the clothes, you'll see."

Remus looked unsure, so I added. "Trust me, no one is going to recognise either of us. You can be Simon, Sirius is Roger, and I'm Betty." I picked up my wand and waved it past the both of them. "You do not speak of magic, or the real names of anybody we know." A clear haze brushed over them.

Remus was staring at me.

"Try saying someone's name or mention the thing I just waved." I laughed.

"Your... stick?" Remus had tried to say "wand".

Sirius laughed. "Does . . . Daddy know you're here?"

Remus and I doubled over. He had been trying to say "Dumbledore".
