(A/n): HELLO! I know I'm late but we're going to pretend like I'm not. This is going to be a hecka short chapter and be a little different, its not really going to benefit the story so if you wanted to skip it that's totally fine. BUT. I have decided its gonna be canon in my story so it may get referenced in the future.

Year 848

Age 13

Christmas

(3rd person POV)

Christmas was here and festivity ran high for most people but Y/n was being far most festive then others. For the past week you couldn't see him without a Christmas Santa hat on and he often sang Christmas songs to himself. No one even minded his singing, he had a surprisingly pleasant voice.

"Come on!!!" Pleaded Y/n with a second identical slightly larger Christmas hat in hand.

"No." Kate bluntly stated, crossing her arms. This had hardly been the first time he tried to persuade her.

Y/n looked up at her with those big puppy (E/c) eyes of his, desperately wanting her to join him.

"I thought you didn't celebrate Christmas!" Broke Kate as his look was starting to get to her.

"Well technically it's the Yule Festival but that's not the point!" Y/n raised the hat a little higher, practically sticking it in her face. "I want to do this with you! I won't bother you about this ever again!"

"God, fiiiiinnnnnneeeeee." She caved, taking the hat and putting it on, she wouldn't admit it but it was kind of cozy. "Want me to sing a song too?" Kate sarcastically muttered in annoyance, clearly a mistake as Y/n's eyes got wider once he processed her words. "Ah shit! No no no! I didn't mean it!!!!" She tried to stop it before it began but it was to late.

Y/n's look didn't go away and Kate knew one way or another he was most likely going to get what he wanted. Plus she hadn't felt like she had paid him back for what happened with Michaels, despite him telling her it was fine.

"Fuck..." Kate closed her eyes momentarily before accepting what she was going to do. 

Taking one final look around the empty cafeteria, Kate looked back toward Y/n putting on a menacing expression.

"This is the only one I know so don't get any wrong ideas!" She aggressively said as she grabbed the collar of his sweater, making him look up into her now threating eyes. "Tell anyone I did this and I'll castrate you!"

"I promise!" Y/n quickly replied, hardly even noticing how scary she looked or that she grabbed him. He was too excited to hear her sing.

Letting go of his sweater, Kate's fearsome expression dropped as she took a deep breath and exhaled. Setting her gaze on Y/n, she began.

(A/n): Yes the music is there too, don't ask how.

"There... ya happy now?" Asked Kate smugly from seeing the mesmerized expression on his face. 

Happy didn't describe the joy Y/n was feeling, He had no idea she sang like an angel and had such impressive range.

"KATE THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! HOW COULD YOU KEEP THAT FROM ME?!?!?!?!?" Y/n very excitedly shouted.

"I'm a girl of many talents." Shrugged Kate, keeping a cocky smirk on her face. 

"Come on guys! We can do this!" Y/n gleefully said to friends, Marco, Jean, Reiner, and Bertholdt.
