It was already after the first show since the Christmas break from the tour. Stevie hadn't made any plans, taking her time getting ready to leave her dressing room. She had already taken off her jewellery, changed out of her stage clothes, about to take off her make up. A knock on the door brought her back to the present and she walked over to let whoever was standing outside in.
"You are so full of shit, you know that, Nicks?"
She laughed before saying anything and stepped aside to let Lindsey into her dressing room. "Hello to you too!" He tossed the most recent issue of Rolling Stone onto the table and slumped down on the couch. "I'm shocked you've actually read it!"
"I wanted to know what else you've come up with about us not liking each other."
"What, did you want me to say, that no, Lindsey and I are just as in love as we were fourty years ago and we hook up almost every night?"
"Maybe not in those exact words, but..."
"We have to keep our cover."
Then we shouldn't be holding hands on stage, don't you think?"
"Hand holding is totally innocent."
"When there's a reason for it, we never have any reason for it. Besides, what are you doing so far away from me?"
Stevie faked an annoyed sigh and walked over to him, sitting down on his lap. "I couldn't not be close to you."
"Neither could I." His hand was sitting comfortably on her thigh, lips finding their way to her exposed neck.
"Why didn't you agree to talk to the magazine?"
"Do we really want to talk about this now?" She nodded, trying her best not to let a moan escape from her parting lips. "We have to keep our cover? We're difficult? We don't like each other? We're not friends?"
"But it's mean."
"I can't win, can I?"
"Is there more to it?"
"No! Stevie... You know there's nothing else, I didn't think you'd want me to talk ot them. That's why I said no."
"But you still love me, right?"
"Stupid question." His palm cupped her cheek, turning her to face him, eagerly locking their lips together.
"You're the one with a wife, sorry if I need some reassuring from time to time." She said, while straddling him.
"She did her part giving me kids, that's all." He slipped his hands under her top, feeling her hips helping her press herself down on him. "Can you feel how much I love you?"
A wicked smile played on her lips, reaching in between them, to grope his length not so gently. "Good to know I still have it."
"You do, baby... Oh yes, you do." She was maneuvering herself out of his grasp and his eyes got wide, seeing her down on her knees. "Stevie?"
"Is there something you'd like me to do?" She asked, raising her eyebrow. She saw his Adam's apple rise and fall, giving her a thrill.
"I don't... I don't think you've locked the door."
"Isn't that exciting?"
"Do we want someone to walk in on us?"
"You're wasting precious time, Linds."
"I do want you to do that." He said quickly.
She reached for his belt buckle, undoing it and the button of his jeans too, pulling them down his long legs. He threw his head back, feeling her perfectly rounded lips closing around him, the warmth of her mouth making his heart beat a lot faster. She backed off a little, her tongue teasing the tip of his manhood, watching him closely. She took him in her mouth again, moving slowly, going as far as she could. His hand tangled in her loose hair, the jerky movements of his hips letting her know he was close.
"Baby, I'm..." He couldn't say more as she ignored him, continuing what she was doing. "I'll..." She didn't listen. "I'm going to..." She didn't stop, that way telling him he shouldn't hold back. Forgetting where they were, Lindsey let out a version of Stevie's name loudly not long after.
"Was that okay?" She asked, looking way too innocently.
"Okay? That was incredible! And unexpected." He took her hand, bringing her back to sit on him. "Why are you still wearing these?" He tugged at her leggings, but she shook her head. "Why?"
"I'll be waiting for you in my hotel room later tonight."
"It's not fair on your part."
"You'll make it up for me, won't you?"
"You bet!" He drew her closer for a kiss before they had to part.

Lindsey came to Stevie's room later, as they had agreed. She didn't waste time for wine drinking and chatting. She grabbed his hand and took him to the bedroom, pushing him down on the bed and following him too. After a couple of rounds of intense love making, if it could be called that, they drifted off to sleep in a mess of limbs.
Stevie woke up the next morning, needing to go to the bathroom, unable to ignore a dull aching of her bones. She washed her hands and returned to the bedroom, yawning. Lindsey was still lightly snoring. She thought she had heard a knock on the door. Maybe it was nothing, but she went to check anyway. Stevie opened the door, nobody was standing there. She looked down, an envelope lying on the floor. She picked it up and went back inside before opening it.
She looked through of what was in the envelope and immediately woke Lindsey up. "What is it?" He groaned, still sleepy.
"Somebody knows."
