Three months later
Nobody's point of view
Stella has been working at 51 for about three months now and it has been working out really well. She likes all the people there, still nobody knows about Kiah and she hasn't told Severide. She doesn't hangout with them outside of the firehouse because she is always spending her off days with Kiah.

Stella's point of view
I just finished shift and was walking out of the firehouse to go home when Brett and Foster called my name. I stopped and turned around as they walked up to me. "Hey. Drinks are on me tonight at Molly's" Foster said. "Ah wish I could, i'm just really tired. Can I take a rain check?" I said. "Ah come on Stella, you haven't been to Molly's yet. It'll be really fun, I promise" Brett said. "Sorry I just want to sleep" I told them. "Alright. You're really missing out though" Foster said. I felt bad for leaving them hanging but I have nobody to watch Kiah and plus I haven't seen her in a whole day so I just wanted to spend the night with her.

I just picked up Kiah from the sitters, we went to the store to get some things and then went home. I put Kiah down for a nap then I cleaned up around the house. After starting some laundry and showering I closed my eyes for a little since Kiah was still asleep.

About 30 minutes later Kiah started crying so I went to her nursery and got her out of the crib. I changed her and then fed her. She has been really fussy lately because she is teething, so it has been kind of difficult. She is 6 months now so she's reaching all her milestones which is really good and her eyes are becoming more and more blue everyday. I took her in the living room and we were just playing on the floor with all her toys while Kiah was babbling.

It was about 5 o'clock and I was folding some laundry while Kiah was playing when there was a knock on the door. I wasn't expecting anything or anyone. I got up and Kiah was still playing, I walked towards the door and opened it and in my door way were two people I was totally not expecting.

"Hey girl!" Brett said. "Since you were to tired to come party we thought we would bring the party to you. We got Chinese food and beer." Foster said. "You guys really didn't have to." Stella said, not knowing what to say. "Oh of course we-" Foster was saying before she got cut off by crying. "Is that a baby?" Foster asked. "Yes it is. Here come in guys" Stella said opening the door wider. "It's okay momma's right here. I got you." Stella said as she picked up Kiah. Brett and Foster slowly walked in with a shocked look on their face.

After Stella got Kiah to calm down she walked into the kitchen with her where Brett and Foster were standing, still having a shocked look on their faces. "Here why don't you guys sit down" Stella said. They all took a seat at the table and then Brett spoke up "Now who is this little one?" "This is my daughter Kiah." Stella said. "So is this why you don't come out?" Foster asked. "Yeah pretty much. It's just me and her so I don't like leaving her with the sitter if I don't have to" Stella said. "How old is she?" Foster asked. "6 months as of yesterday." Stella said.

"So when you first got to 51 and you said you were off for a year, this was why?" Brett asked. "Yeah, after I found out I was pregnant, I worked a desk job for the CFD and then when she was about 3 months old I went back to work." I said. "Well she is precious" Brett said. "Yeah. and she definitely has her mom's hair genes." Foster said. "For sure. But look at those eyes. They sparkle" Brett said. "Well I can't take any credit for that" I said. Kiah was getting fussy and started crying. "Sorry she's normally not like this but she's teething so she's been really fussy lately." I said as I got up and got her a bottle. "No it's fine, we kind of barged in on you anyways" Foster said with a slight laugh. "I don't mind it. The company is actually nice, I actually get to have some adult conversation outside of work." I said with a laugh. "Is she crawling yet?" Brett asked. "Almost. She gets up on her legs and arms and tries but never really gets anywhere." I said as I was sitting down with Kiah who was drinking her bottle.
