Day after-party.
The servants were cleaning up after the mess. The party lasted until midnight and that's when people started to leave. Some people were left sleeping in other bedrooms and on the floor around the house. But the place smelled putrid, it reeked of alcohol, vomit and smoke. The floors were sticky and there were multiple stains everywhere. Empty cans of beer and alcohol were left everywhere and the fridges were half empty.

Millie's head was ringing and she felt like she was hit by a train when she woke up. The light stung her eyes and she immediately hid under the duvet. A knock was heard at the door and it echoed in her head. The moment she opened her mouth, it felt sore and stung.
"Entre si tu es stupide!" She croaked and someone walked in.
"Good morning to you too, Millie brown." She immediately sat up even if she was hit with dizziness and sickness to see the familiar face, Finn.
"What do you want." She said waiting for a response.
"Just wanted to wake you up and say that the palace is definitely not a mess." She threw herself into the bed and laid there.
"Did I make an idiot of myself last night?"
"To say that, would be an understatement, Millie. You drunk a whole bottle of vodka and spilt water all over yourself then..." He paused waiting for her to answer. "You don't remember?" He shook his head and smirked.

"I just kissed Finn Wolfhard!" She shouted before burying herself into her sheets.
"Yes, we kissed. Then you told me, we can't be just friends. Then she dropped asleep in my arms and I put you to bed."
"I beg you not to tell a soul!" She whined under her pillows.
"Of course I won't. I just want to know what that phrase meant..." There was a long silence.
"I don't know what I meant, I was drunk. Maintenant j'ai la pire gueule de bois!" Then she raised from her bed. "I really don't remember and I...I don't know what I was saying...cause I...I don't like you in that way." She looked down at her hands that were tied together, in a nervous knot.
"Oh." He sighed and for the first time, he didn't smile into Millie's eyes. She really didn't like Finn this way, she hated it. "Well, I have feelings for you and I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon." He was about to leave the room when he looked up at Millie, he looked hurt and sad yet, he was going down without a fight. "You come to see me when you want to talk properly." He walked out and shut the door, continuing to his duties.

After a few minutes in bed, practically dying from her headache, she thought taking a shower would ease her mind. She got ready for a bath and headed to her oversized bathroom, with lots of marble designs. After brushing her teeth, she went to the shower and saw, her bath was already prepared for her. She didn't command any servant to do this and saw that Finn was the one who prepared early in the morning, he had shampoo and soaps out for her and her favourite scented candles. She smiled and looked at the note, which read, 'For my Royal Princess- F.W.' she smiled as she put the note away in her robe. She thought how nice of him it was to do that, even though she didn't ask him to and it showed he cared about her, as no other person did. Now she was starting to think what he told her in the morning, what he said to her and what she said back. Whenever she thought about him, she smiled and blushed and whenever she thought about the time they kissed, it sounded unreal or made-up to think that a boy she liked so much kissed her on the lips and she couldn't even remember it. She felt like she had nobody to turn to for advice and the only person she could think of was Finn, but then she thought of Sadie.

Once she got out the bath, she put on a white off the shoulders short dress as she got ready to invite Sadie's family over. Throughout the time of getting ready, she half expected Finn to pop around the corner from her door to tell her how beautiful she looked but the greeting it never came. She looked outside in her corridor where he'd usually be cleaning the windows but he wasn't there. She looked in the washing room but he wasn't there either.
Her mind was soon taken off it when three knocks were heard at the door.
