3RD POINT OF VIEW

CORALINE AND (NAME) GAZED AT-
the naked pine tree in the dining room as they sat on the floor in front of it, wondering how to decorate it. They looked at each other and both raised a brow as if to ask if the other had any ideas. A smirk tugged at Coraline's lips as she shared a gaze with the other kid.
She couldn't help but think about how funny and cute (Name) looked with a serious face. Though, theirs wasn't forced like Coraline's was. Coraline completely lost her forged face and fell into a fit of laughter when (Name) stuck their tongue out.
(Name) started to laugh as well, also not able to keep their serious face anymore. The kid's laughed and laughed for what seemed like ages, tears stung their eyes in their giggly fit.
(Name) suddenly stopped laughing. Coraline also stopped and wiped a tear from her face, she didn't realize she started had started tearing up. She looked at (Name) and small bit of worry stung her chest. "..Is something wrong?" She said, her voice much quieter than a whisper, scared she might disrupt the kid more.
(Name) shook their head slightly and picked something up from beside them. They raised it above them and cleared their throat. Coraline looked at the object and then back at (Name).
Upon realizing that the object (Name) was holding was mistletoe, she inhaled sharply. Her face warmed up and her heart leaped in her throat. (Name) noticed the now red face of Coraline and smirked, wiggling their eyebrows before closing their eyes and puckering their lips.
Coraline smiled and rolled her eyes. "Pfft- Oh my god!" She said before laughing again. (Name) opened their (e. colour) eyes and stopped puckering their lips and, once again, shared the blue-haired girl's laughter.
After a while they found out how they wanted to decorate the tree. They had decided to do a food theme. It might sound silly but it actually turned out to be really good.
They decorated the tree with popcorn and cereal vines, fast food charms and toys, ornaments with stickers of food or pictures with desserts painted on them, and they had replaced the star with a ring of 3 fake glass donuts.
Coraline's parents had questioned it but (with a bit of convincing) they also went along with it. The four individuals were quite proud of the tree after decorating it.
Christmas was extremely fun for the two and they had a wonderful time that day and couldn't wait to celebrate more holidays with each other and hopefully with Wybie too!
