Baseball

"Throw me the ball, Bubba," the little brunette threw the baseball to her father. Her arm was strong, her legs moved fast. Considering she was small, it was normal to be fast.

But her speed was immaculate.

"Good job Bub, now what you wanna do is hold the bat across yourself, there ya go," The man cheered his daughter for listening well.

"Focus on the ball, make it your only target," the little girl squinted her eyes at the ball and her grip grew stronger on the bat.

She watched the ball, soar out of her dad's hand. She felt like she was in slow motion. The ball was slowly getting to her. Her hands prepared to move the bat to hit the ball.

She closed her eyes and hoped for the best. What if she didn't hit it? Would her dad be disappointed?

She heard the crack.

Her eyes opened to see the ball, soaring across the sky, her dad standing at the pitchers plate.

"Run, Bubs!" Her dad cheered for her to start moving.

"She's running to 1st, she spikes her way to 2nd, this is the fastest she's ever gone, she makes it to third, and...and...she's home!" The man ran over to her daughter and picked her up.

"Michaels for the win! 5...5.4 seconds! Woohoooo!" She squealed at her dad tickling her for the win she made.

"Little cheetah, you have a gift,"

Cars

"Go Daddy!" The little girl squealed as she watched her dad, win his race. The bright and beautiful cars stopped and people crowded.

The little girl pushed everyone out of her way to speed to her dad, him waiting with his arms wide open. The rest of his kids, standing with their mama.

"You won!"

He kissed the little girls' cheek many times.

"Yes I did, Bunny,"

"Dad?" The racer turned to look at his daughter who sat in his arms. She looked just like he did when he was younger. From head to toe.

"I'm gonna be a racer, just like you, and I'm gonna win every race like you do, you know why?" The daughter smiled to her dad and waiting for him to answer.

"Why, Bubba?" She only smiled and held her hand on her dad's face.

"Because you're my hero..."
