Who is this boy? He is a friend of Wendy's im guessing. But everything i do, i think about that boy. The one who never shows his face ever. I want to know more. Perhaps we were friends too...

Everytime i look at this boy, I see...a field. An abandoned one. Full of laughter. But...I see myself standing at the plate with the boy. His friends out in the field waiting with their gloves.

But i can't figure out why this keeps happening to me. I can't remember any of these scenarios. It could just be me going insane, making up shit in my head. i dont know why i can't remember him.

"Michaels...you good?" I heard a voice zone me back in. I turned to see Jordan standing in front of my table. I looked around to see no one sitting with me. We had stopped in at our accommodation in LA, I chose to sit in the dining hall for a bit. He sat down on the seat across from me. 

"I have no idea, that boy, Benjamin, he seems distantly familiar to me, its starting to hit me that i might get back all my memories, but im not getting my hopes up, its just...im tryihng so hard to remember," I can't sit here and self-pity myself. I wanna try and make it up to people by knowing who they are. 

"Well...If i can be honest with you...You were friends," he seemed uncomfortable saying that but he just shook his head and looked back at Benjamin. We were friends.

"He's probably just upset you can't find a single memory about him, I don't know," I looked at him pulling his cap down further down so i couldn't see his face. Then i remembered...

FLASHBACK (from the first book)

"HAHAHAHA!" Kenny laughed out loud. The teacher turned around and he calmed down and tamed himself. She squinted her eyes at him before sitting at her desk.

Kenny laughed at him while he was saying something. He grabbed the front of cap and pulled it further down his face to hide the redness. i couldn't help but giggle. 

The bell went and Benny grabbed his books before sprinting out of the class. I saw a note fall out of his book as he got up and left. I went and picked up but it was opened and i read it. 

I can't stop thinking about you. You're all i can think about.

I looked at Jordan to see he was playing with the food he had on his plate. He seemed upset. I grabbed his cap off his head and put it on my own. His hair fell in his face so i reached over to push it behind his ear and he stared at me. We held eye contact for a while. My hand still touching his hair. I saw his left eye was all bruised. Before i could even react to it, he threw a vegetable in my face whilst laughing.

"Are you a child?" I laughed while reaching for his plate and throwing some food at him, to which lead to a food fight between us two.

She pushed the hair away from my face, her finally being able to see me. Her eyes are so pretty. I mean she is a really beautiful girl. I felt fuzzy from her touch. But...

I can't let her see what happened to my eye so i threw a carrot at her to distract her. Her laughing was the sweetest noise, i couldn't help but blush. Fuck sakes. 

I tackled her before spinning her around, her giggles being the loudest noise in the room. I looked up to see Benny glaring before walking away. I felt bad. Benny used to be my friend too. We were really good friends. I wouldn't feel too good either to see an old friend and my ex fucking around laughing together. 

But i couldn't help but stare at her smile. It's been a hot minute since i've seen her smile. For the last week, she had sat with a blank face. No emotion. But i'm happy to see she's getting back into reality.

But is this even a good thing that i have some sort of feelings towards someone who belongs to someone else, who she doesn't remember?

In ways, i feel awful being close with her, for Benny's sake. I've known how he's felt for her for years and this is what i'm doing to him. But...

When i'm around her, i feel so...happy. Am i a bad friend?
