彼らは孤独と呼ぶ飲み物を共有していますが、それは一人で飲むよりはましです。
For years, Parlogram Records have been improving the young careers of all the musicians of Japan. It is also the one-stop place for wannabe songwriters for their start in the music world. Without its existence... no one will ever be able to reach that apparent goal of theirs. It is an honour to become a part of this company, and it'll continue to do so until the whole world succumbs into its final bow.
"Kousei, did you really accepted it? Wow, that's kind of a big offer coming from a company! How much do they pay?" That morning, Kousei was bombarded with questions from Tsubaki.
"Whoa, Tsubaki! Where is this coming from? I mean... it's not a big deal. I haven't gone to their headquarters yet. I don't even know where it is, to be honest." Kousei said, scratching his head.
"That's a bummer. So when will you be able to meet up with them? This is your first time coming to an important meeting, am I right?" She was trying to know where is Kousei going, so that she'll follow him and help him get that contract signed.
"Tsubaki, there'd be no way I would be able to get that. And besides, how did you know that I was given an offer?" Kousei asked.
"Umm... well, I overheard it." She said, which surprised Kousei.
"Wait, everything?? Right from the very beginning??" He frantically said. He was nervous because Tsubaki might've also heard his conversation with the ghostly Kaori.
"Huh? What do you mean? The contract? The Parlogram offer? That's what I only heard anyway." She assured that nothing personal was overheard.
This gave Kousei some relief. Afterwards, the gloomy pianist received a text message from the same agent of Parlogram Records.
Hello. This is to inform you that your appointment with the board of directors of Parlogram Records is set at 10:45am. Make sure to be at your best, and be ready when you're asked to perform a bit of piano. We'll come pick you up from your residence, along with whoever you want to bring with.
Kousei woke up at 9:45am, so he only has an hour left to prepare. He quickly finished his breakfast and went straight to the shower.
"Hey Tsubaki!! Can you come with me at the appointment? I'm gonna need you there!" He shouted while inside the shower.
"Wait- right now?? Oh God, you didn't tell me sooner! Alright, Kousei!" She, too, hurried like what Kousei did, although it was a very messy time to get up and ready.
Afterwards, the clock struck 10:45am, and somebody rang their doorbell. Good thing both of them were ready. Kousei opened the door to see who it was.
"Hello, sir Arima Kousei. We're the service who will come pick you up and be brought to the Japanese headquarters of Parlogram Records." Their service said.
Apparently, their carrier was a limousine, which is a high bar for Kousei. He just badly played his performance in the competition, and now he's riding in style. This shocked him, who just wanted a normal vehicle. But for Tsubaki, she quickly rested on the leather seats of the limo.
Kousei was reluctant to get comfortable, although this was mainly brought for him. "Umm, excuse me, sir! But who sent you?"
"I am a driver for the executives at Parlogram Records. I was sent by an agent, who said that she gained an agreement between you and her. Don't worry, sir. This service is free of charge. The board of directors seem to like your performance. They would like to see the best of you." The driver said.
