人生はどんどん続き、今夜はもうすぐ終わります。
After his final leg of his concert, Kousei and Tsubaki was sent back to the Parlogram headquarters for their annual album gross report. They had to do this everytime they release an album or a single.
Kousei did not plan to return yet, because he was tired and making an entire report for Parlogram is one exhausting job, considering the fact that he and Tsubaki is the manager of himself. He thought of staying for two more nights at the hotel they're at. Even though his legs are tired, and he can barely move his hand, Kousei never squandered an inkling of time to write new material, not because he's forced to... but because he was born to.
Despite his simple words already taken and the radio repeating them in every day of his life, Kousei kept pushing for more.
"There is something missing... I know there is... I can't find it..." Kousei muttered to himself. Despite having a good air condition, Kousei couldn't stop his sweat from falling on the written pages of his feelings and thoughts. "I need to... keep going... I..." Kousei's eyes began to close due to his exhaustion.
They finally gave in after he wrote the word: "lost".
Kousei... don't you ever forget about me. I'm still here...
He soon heard an ominous voice in his room. As he looked at his back... he saw a girl with blonde wavy hair that reaches down her waist, with indigo eyes that reminded him of his old self, in her pink dress.
When the girl smiled at him, that's where Kousei's tears began to ride down his cheeks. He got up his seat and hugged her, as if he was already missing the days where he wasn't involved in this mess. He fell on his knees, as he kept crying on the girl's front.
"I... I'm sorry, Kaori! I'm sorry that I forgot about you! All these years, I've been trying to make it to the world... like you want me to! I didn't know, that it would be tiring and depressing... I want to go back now.... I want to be a normal person again... I want you... back..." Kousei cried out.
The girl caressed his jet black hair as she smiled right at him, as if she found her happiness.
It's okay, Kousei. Keep doing what you love. You still have Tsubaki right at your side to help you all the way.
And... even though my time here on Earth is running out, remember to always keep me in your dreams. That's the only way for you to know that I'm always alive and here to listen to your troubles.
Remember that... baka.
As the sun shines, the girl's figure slowly disappeared. She left Kousei lying on the floor, sleeping.
Goodbye... Kousei.
Morning has risen. Kousei slowly opened his eyes as the sunshine struck his face. He looked around his room, only to find himself lying on the floor. "OH GOD. DID I FALL ASLEEP HERE??"
His startle woke up Tsubaki, who was sleeping in the other bed of their hotel room. "What the... Kousei! Are you alright?" She rushed outside her room to check on him.
"I- I'm fine... I just fell asleep on the floor. Sorry for keeping you worried." Kousei said, as he picked up his glasses on the table.
Tsubaki then helped him get up on his knees. "Well... you really shouldn't push yourself this much. You've been writing a lot quite lately, I'm sure you're pretty much drained."
