Thank you xpercabeth3000 , eddi_10_27_06_ Bhavamanyu and LoverofBooksGal for voting and commenting! And 2minty4u for doing the former again! Also LewisMoger and BlueeCookiess for commenting! Again, tell me if I missed anyone!

Also I'm sorry if my writing is a bit...off, these days. I've been having some trouble with things in life and so um...don't be surprised if I'm acting weirdly or whatever

Again, sorry for not updating, I have no idea what this book is anymore 😂 and I don't mean that I'll discontinue this, just that this is really not a great story

The original couple and the soulmates two,
To gain back their pride with the wine, wisdom's hue.
Uneven numbers must conquer Aldesse,
And feel the pain cast upon the blessed.
Once the apple falls from the tree,
Immortality twists its key.

Apollo's POV

I tried to free my fingers, but they were still trapped in the ice block — which was also trapping my legs. Hera had pointed out that the chain on the griffin's neck wrote ALDESSE, which gave us something to start with, I suppose. I wonder if the griffin was Aldesse, or it's owner was...

My mind drifted to when I destroyed those targets back in the floating white area. The somehow physical curse had disintegrated those targets within seconds. So I tried to picture a glowing purple blob forming in my hand. I pushed out my power, willing it to form. But nothing happened.

I narrowed my eyes at the griffin, who was silently watching us. It's icy eyes pierced into each of us, then it finally blew out another wind of ice, freezing Zeus, Dionysus and Athena completely. But Athena managed to dodge the wind slightly, so it only froze the lower part of her face, leaving her eyes free.

Hera turned to me, slightly tilting her head to the side. She opened her mouth, but the griffin let out another screech. Ice shot past its wings and towards Camp Half-Blood. For a second, I was afraid it would try to attack camp. But instead of what I anticipated, a ice wall formed just out side the borders, blocking the sight of Camp, and vise versa.

Damn. So no demigodly help. I sighed. Oh, how I wish Percy Jackson was here right now...He'd save all of our butts, really. He's a game changer. And of course, there's Annabeth Chase as well. Her strategies would set the griffin straight. Piper McLean could've charmspoke the griffin into letting them go. Jason Grace could summon the wind and counter the ice. Leo would do even better, his fire melts all ice.

Hazel Levesque maybe could use metals to distract the griffin, then ride around Arion as fast as the wind. Frank Zhang's ability would serve well in battle, he could probably mimic the griffin, too. Thousands of the dead would serve Nico di Angelo in battle. Electricity is Thalia Gra— Thalia's specialty, but since Zeus is bound, that won't do any good.

Reyna Ramírez-Arellano had her dogs, Silver and Gold, I think. They could tear the ice apart and the daughter of Bellona with her sword, and the Aegis cape, she could defend herself from the ice. Grover Underwood and Juniper could summon the nature around them, or even possibly calm the griffin, giving them an advantage.

Katie Gardner would control the plants around her. Clarisse La Rue would be a beast with her electric spear. The other demigods had been fighting for their whole life, and so they knew what to do in these situations.
