Chapter Ten

"Are you alright?" He questioned me.

"I'll be okay, I'm just in a lot of pain." I answered.

"Everything's going to go just fine princess" he said.

"I hope so.." I replied.

"It will, I love you okay?" He quoted.

"I love you too.. Okay." I responded.

Cody got up, and pushed the chair he was sitting upon closer to the bed next to me. He took my hand, his hands were cold, yet soft and he interlocked them with mine. I felt his comfort and I felt safe.

All of a sudden, I started feeling a lot of pain and something pushing down on my stomach. It was the baby I thought. I think it was time to give birth. I screamed at Cody to go get a doctor and I sat on the bed in so much pain.
Cody ran into the hallway and got a doctor quickly and brought him into the room.
